Confused on HTC Hero and Voice Dialing. Some articles are saying it has voice dialing, yours is saying it doesn't. What's the deal with the difference? Just looking for clarity as that's one thing I need in a phone for usage: be able to use my bluetooth and speak someone's name to dial when I'm driving.

Anonymous, 10 Aug 2009If the N97 has capacitive touch screen, about same RAM & pr... moreno because all i read was bad reviews of the n97, too slow, bugs, too little to offer appswise, this is the thing with nokia, you have to do it all by yoursef, take ngage, they are bragging about it for the last 3 years and for what really, it is a big letdown. I fi bur an expensive phone it better does what i want, thats why iphoen is popular, tehy give you what they promise. Nokia is all about specs, which in practice you have a hard time using them.

i dont say htc hero is perfect, but what i have seen of the browsing youtube android market, wow, and the whole sense ui thing, this is iphone competitot.

And very big plus, the battery lasts 1,5 day, not like the iphone only half a day.

n97 too expensive and for what? it doesnt offer quality. Ovi store is ridicilous compared to androi market, so very easy c hoice for me.

htc hero has capacitve touchscreen, browsing with multitouch, wonderful market for free apps(5000 at the moment and growing)youtube, design is unique. n97 no match for htc hero, even hardwarewise with its slower processor.

Android Market > Ovi Store, so alot of apps for the android. Most of which are free.

Some minor lag on HEro, but, but, but, again, the UI is what you'll really love. Its flat out an ace. You'll understand what i mean when you get one :)

Anonymous, 10 Aug 2009Thanks, have you used the N97 as some reviews says its bett... moreHere is the thing, the N97 is a good device with a keyboard and a good camera for video recording and taking pictures. On the other hand, the hero's camera is not so hot but passable with no keyboard.

What you will really enjoy with the Hero is the Sense UI. The UI is the Ace! So if you don't mind the chin, or camera quality or keyboard and want a quality user experience, Hero is it IT you need.
