Like one user, they mentioned that play.com is the cheapest at £369.99
does anyone know where you can get it cheaper? as htc desire is only around £40 more with better specs. hard to justify the price even with the unibody casing.

I have bought Legend on the release day. The battey concerned me a bit on the first 2 days has it didn't last long, but it also the day where you use you phone the whole day since you are trying it out. But after 3 or 4 days I'm more pleased with the battery duration. I charged it yesterday at 13:00 and as I write this 12:40 that is, after 24 hours that battery is at 90%, I browsed the web a bit, sent a couple of SMS's and made 2 phone calls, you can get the picture. I Would expect that for a "nomal" use it would last 24 hours without problem, but I guess you'll have to charge it everynight if possible, since Li-Ion Batteries don't mind the extra recharges, they don't have memory issues.
About the phone. IT's snappy, it is. You won't feel any slowdown anywhere, well except when you are listing all the installed apps, there it get's a big sluggish till it loads all the installed applications., But that is something you don't use more than 1 time per week or... per month, depends on the user.
The Onscreen Keyboard is excellent, the word correction of HTC is just flawless. The screen size is perfect, I Didn't want a screen as big as the Desire since I wanted a pocket that felt right on my Jeans Pocket. The Screen is so detailed it doesn't seem a pixel based screen, it's as clear as a old CRT. The contrast is just awesome, the AMOLED does it's work. Under Sunlight you might have to put the brightness to max tho in order to make it legible.
Regarding apps, you have almost anything you can need pre-installed. You might want to grab an Office Docs editor, but you get one installed to view them, but can't edit. PFD reader is installed too.
Music sound is clear, very nice indeed. It almsot feels like an iPod on the browsing, the HTC Widget is a lot better than the Stock one on Android.
Video plays nice, but it lacks DIVx Support, that is a con.
The Alluminium surface is sturdy. The all device feels very expensive, to be honest the best looking mobile device I've ever grabbed. More than an iPod.
I'm tottaly satisfied with it. I hoped the battery would last longer, but it's as good as an iPod or other recent SmartPhone devices. The Building quality is great. The Screen is Amazing. Performance is Snappy. Call Quality is very good. Better than my previous SonyEricsson phone. Speak Quality is loud and clear also. I like it, great phone.

i saw some videos on youtube on setting up emails. i use iphone w/o plan as i m no longer with the carrier. i can still use all my email address on iphone without a data plan. as soon as i roll into an area with wifi, i can connect check my emails. i saw the video where it was mentioned that you can not set up yahoo account w/o data plan! that basically sucks because a user like me may not want a plan. this is where iphone makes a lot of sense. if i can set up and use emails via wifi, hands down, i would by this phone. i m looking for suggestions or comments. Thanks.

Hey guys, i'm planning on buying this phone but i have some concerns and questions for those of you, who already have the phone and can fully answer my questions. please no predictions only confirmed and 100% trusted answers.
1- Is the phone aluminium body scratch resistant or it looks like it will scratch easily and ruin the phone looks??
2- I need more info on the Wifi signal strength and functionality, is it dodgy or stable, how far from the router and you can still get good signal?
3- What about bluetooth Audio streaming to stereo bluetooth headsets, is it smoooth and working ok, does it support ID tags, skipping, rewinding and such controls?
4- Is the Legend screen glass or plastic and again will i need a screen protector from day one or it can withstand normal usage without any protection?
5- Did anyone try VOIP and can share his experience and how did the phone fair in placing and receiving calls on both 3G networks and through WIFI?!
6- Finally Does the phone support unicode characters, like reading arabic in TXT Msgs, mails and or in any application on the phone?
7- How does the loudspeaker fair, is it good & loud enough?
Thanks all
