Just bought it few days ago. Just incredible. The best mobile I ever had. Before I had the HTC Touch...nothing to do with the Magic. Magic is made to compete with IPhone, that's clear. With the Android OS, it is very fast and fluid, very intuitive. Installing an application from the market is straightforward and very fast. Most applications are free and work very well. You have 3 different home screens you can customize with shortcuts, widgets, etc...Gmail, Google talk and Calendar fully syncronized. Get your emails in real time. Really, for those who are still with Windows Mobile...just forget about it. Try Android.

i've just bought this phone for rm1500...this phone is pretty cheap now coz in jun this phone would cost u rm2700 : p

Hello everyone, good to say somthing about HTC magic, why????
It's great phone with many features as well as very helpful machine either for calls or for apps that you may request to use as it has a store of many good apps.
However, I would advise you to try HTC magic if you like to use the Iphone which is hard to get it due to it's price.

hi guys Sense UI is now available at HTC website, its cool and awesome! try it!
I bought my phone at SMART Philippines. Upgrading to Sense UI is a breeze.
If you want internet and mms settings (SMART) just post here =p
Question: is there a way for me to install aplications to my memory card instead of internal memory? thanks!

I have a Magic32A (288Ram). Upgraded to 1.6 with no stress. But a lot of previous reading is mandatory. I used a recovery mode and a custom ROM. Works like a charm.

I've had the magic for about 2 months now and it is by far the best phone I've ever owned.
Bluetooth file transfer was an issue until I found the App for it.
The touchscreen is very good, if you have tried an iPhone then it uses the same technology which makes it very responsive. Also having 3 screens is brilliant, gives you plenty of space to add shortcuts your favorite apps.
The Apps store is also very easy to use, not as many Apps as the iPhone but because the iPhone was out before the Magic all of the good iPhone apps have been replicated straight away, so where it lacks quantity it makes up for in quality.
As you would expect with so much going on the battery life isn't great, but you can turn off elements quickly with special apps and having 3 screens means you can have these available at a swipe of the finger.
I'm getting about 2 days worth of life from the battery by turning off the Bluetooth, GPS and wireless when i don't need them. Have to say though that I've never had a phone that charges so quick. Unlike my blackberry, 2-3 hours and it is fully charged!
The only element I have issues with is the camera, while the Magic takes great pictures for a phone, you have to press the centre ball to focus and then release to take a picture, trouble is when i do this it moves the camera and can blur the picture.
Finally some words about the Android system. For me what makes the iPhone so good is the speed of the system, I've used windows and Symbian systems previously and they can be sluggish once you start to pile the applications on, the iPhone OS doesn't and the great news is neither does the Android OS. It is as quick now with the 50+ apps i have installed as it was the day I started it up and it is quick! I'm not a patient person (my blackberry used to make me swear a lot!) but i don't have to wait for the Magic (unless it's on the net and then we all have to wait for that!).
Hope that you find my small review helpful, my advice is to go to your local mobile phone store and try it, like all phones it wont be for everyone but I have to say the Magic is for me.
