The Rogers Canada version of the HTC Magic has 288MB RAM which equals the Hero. Even less reason to wait. I'm getting this from my uncle. HTC has said the Sense UI will be available on non-Google handsets.

Many thanks!! =D Cos I'm really confused whether to buy the Sony Ericcson Aino or this one, I know there's quite a difference but the games are important for me.

I am an extenssive user of Email(mostly Gmail). This is a perfect Gizmo for me and I can proudly say Android has done a fantastic Job in creating a Awesome Open Platform for people to explore. I am sure Android will be a Slow Killer of All other popular Platforms now. iPhone is great but still there is no proper balance of what end users are developers are looking for. BTW, HTC Magic is my first ever HTC hardware i am using...GREAT JOB HTC..I am lovin IT.

i bought htc magic in Jakarta, i read somewhere in the internet that the phone does not support synchronization with PC, but my phone come with MS exchange sync option, the problem is the phone does not include any google applications and come with "slide-me" apps instead of android market and does not prompt any initial setup wizard for google account, is this normal condition? any one know how to download google application and android market ? thanks.

JG, 26 Jun 2009Can someone explain why specs say "Handwriting Recognition"... morethere is an option on the on screen keyboard to draw
alphabet with the finger, Chinese character also supported (in my opinion the accuracy is quite good)

I find the phone quite fun and exciting to use, there are endless applications and games to play, to access these games and applications you go into market. also FYI to save battery and data go into settings then data synchronizations, and disable background data.

JG, 26 Jun 2009Can someone explain why specs say "Handwriting Recognition"... moreIts capacitive touch so a stylus wont work. You need to write with your finger or buy a special capacitive stylus. I know some handwriting softwares only read one letter at a time so you can write with you finger. but if you want to scribble some notes and memos, then you need a stylus - but you also need a third party scribble app for that.

So pleased tmobile rejected my request for the g1 on credit grounds - computer says no - as a few days later Vodafone offered me the g2 as an upgrade. My main concern, prior to testing both phones, was text entry. The g1 was hard going for my elephantitis fingers wheras the g2, which I tested instore and am using to type this message, is an absolute breeze. As far as the ease of setting up and finding my way around all the different functions, there have been no problems to date - and this from someone who is a dodo with technology. Having just said that I realize that I have no idea how to start a new paragraph - the cursor scrolls to the right, seemingly into eternity. Never mind, will find a way with more practise. Excellent site by the way - heavily influenced my decision to get this phone in the first place.

Just worked that pesky pargraph business out - the word 'moron' doesn't even begin to cover it. Be blessed, I will post more when deeper into the experience.
