HTC Mondrian and Mozart officially confirmed… kinda
HTC's first Windows Phone 7 devices have been confirmed for the first time. Their MMS profiles in XML have been found on the official HTC website, which means Mondrian and Mozart are for real. Not that we had any doubts about it. It's only natural that HTC is prepping WP7 smartphones.
HTC Mondrian, which is supposed to pack 4.3-inches touchscreen and a 1.3 GHz Snapdragon processor, is now confirmed to have a WVGA screen resolution and Windows Phone 7 ticking inside. As we wrote two days ago, Mondrian (or Gold in UK) is rumored for November release.
HTC Mozart resembles Desire, but we guess the final versions of both Windows Phone 7 devices may look completely different from what we have seen by now. Mozart will also use WVGA screen, but that's all we can learn from the XML file.
We hope they don't take too long to announce those.
