pls change change that m p to ultra pixal in camara
HTC uses the term "ultrapixel" as a way of changing the conversation and explaining why the HTC One camera, which basically has a 4 megapixel lens, can best cameras with MP ratings that are twice as high.

The aluminum unibody design is beautiful and sleek. The contoured back improves the grip a lot.
The look and feel are undeniably premium. It slides into your chino pocket gracefully and turns heads everytime you pull it out from there.
The display looks vivid and gorgeous, and coupled with 440ppi of pixel density, it's visual pleasure to use the phone.
The keyboard does the job fairly well. Every basic feature is covered here. Text prediction, multiple language support, voice input, etc.
Call quality and network reception is good. No issue whatsoever. Connectivity is well-covered: HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooh, NFC etc etc. I like NFC-powered Google Beam feature, it works like magic. It also comes with 2 web browser, Android browser & Chrome, and so you can pick what you like the most.
Camera does a pretty good job. Color reproduction & details are accurate in adequately-lit environment shooting. Low-lit photos are impressive--it resolves details at such environment much better than any phone I ever owned in the last 5 years. Camera is pretty fast too, from launching, shooting, previewing photo and shooting the next one. Front-camera takes very good photos (if not the best) and decent 720 videos. Shooting in Zoe mode gives tons of options to tweak your creativity. My favorite ones are sequence shot and best frame.
The sonic experience is awesome, thanks to both BoomSound and BeatsAudio. BoomSound really makes a difference. HTC One doesn't come with dedicated video player but you can play your videos straight from the gallery. And oh, the gallery is wicked! Zoe videos looks magical on thumbnails, you know, 'living gallery'.
Performance is fast, thanks to the top-notch processor and huge amount of RAM. Multitasking is smooth as silk, and special credit to '3x3 grid multitasking GUI' which I personally think looking neat. Sense 5 is much cleaner than previous iterations. The keyboard does the job fairly well. Every basic feature is covered here. Text prediction, multiple language support, voice input, etc.
BlinkFeed is a good addition to the skin, making news-reading activities so easy. I don't need to put another widget, nor digging the app tray and so on to consume my daily information intake. HTC should add more sources in the future update.
Battery life is good, although not spectacular. With single charge, it can last up to 15 hours of medium usage. Good, but could be improved.

malek, 12 Jul 2013only 4mega pixel :D ha ha ha. . . .It's actually 4 "ultra"pixel (as HTC have branded them), meaning you get much better quality per pixel. I for one prefer this to getting 10 megapixels and still having crappy photographs.
Now if only I could afford this beauty;)

Hi I recently bought the HTC one after extensively researching on the net. Unfortunately I did not go into a shop and play with it. I was using the Samsung galaxy note 2 before this. I must admit the hype and the views about the HTC one are all wrong. Yes it has a simple user interface, but anyone using a smartphone has to be smart. It definitely no way compares to the samsung quality and also the samsung user interface. I am extremely disappointed and wil definitely be returning to a galaxy phone as soon as possible.

lumina, 11 Jul 2013Same thing with me. But its my fault i dont learn from expe... moreThere are 3 possibilities.
1. Samsung or Apple are really taking good care of your bank account for this unwanted spamming in here.
2. Deep down your soul you are an HTC fan, despite the fact that this is the 3rd HTC phone that lets you down, and you just can't quit
3. You are a troll and you just came here to disturb us, the real HTC fans

Walk around with your eyes sqinted. If its bright you see ok, now add 13 mil of them.
Walk around with your eyes wide open and add 4 mill of them.
If you want a 13 mil pix ultra cam the sensor would be far too big for the phone. Like having a DSLAR stapped to the back of your phone.
The only time you will notic any really difference is if you crop your pic a lot.

Anonymous, 11 Jul 2013Why could HTC not make 13mp ultrapixel camera? Why does it ... moreIts simple. The size of a 13mp ulta pixel sensor will be twice the size of the sensor in s4 which needs an increase in the lens size too. This triggers a whole lot of increases. battery, thickness etc etc. hence they chose 4mp
