This is the best phone i have used so far ... Battery backup is really good ... Screen clarity is awesome ...

AnonD-116479, 01 Jul 2013Xperia Z is nothing in front of the HTC One. No offense for... moreI know, there were many features that HTC One have and Z did not. However, for me ONE also has many features that I not so much need it:
1) Blinkfeed - It allows me to watch live news is it, but what is the difference watching live news and news, still is a news, you can use television program to watch news also. Sounds is great, but don't forgot, if there were no Wi-Fi, we also can't use any "feed".
2) Zoe Camera - Ya, this features will not in the Z. But Z's camera display has supported by Bravia Engine and Exmor. I think this will be a tie. My friend said Z is more beautiful in light, but HTC One is more rich colorful.
3) HDR Microphone - I have check Youtube video that film by using HTC One HDR Microphone. Why I need to use this features, I dun like to record sound or record video. Although given me so nice features, but for me it is too waste.
4) Dual Speaker - I think there is nothing can compare by using Dual Speaker, I didn't need it, I just want to listen music, that's all.
5) IR Blaster - Not bad, HTC phone as a remote control, Sony also can but the TV must is Sony Product. In my life, I only have 0.001% Chance to use TV, because I have my own computer, I can download movie and watch with my own computer.
Therefore, HTC One's features is not so give me a good attract, Z's first thing that attract me is it's "Home Button" "Back Button" and "Task Button", easy touch, and fast accept your command.
I mean, not all people like HTC, also not all people like Sony. So I dun think Comparing between Sony and HTC is a good direction, all phones in the world has their own advantages and disadvantages.

HTC comes with great features such as Blinkfeed than allow you to see your social network updates even home screen and live news.
The HTC Zoe camera features bring the camera in to different level non of the feature available in Xperia Z. In addition to wind angle camera perfect for landscape photography and perfect low light performance. Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS)and 5 level flash LED for a perfect shot in the dark.
HDR microphone gives excellent call clarity for the receiver even in noisy environment. And Automatically adjusting output frequency regarding the ambital for the better call clarity.
Dual speakers in front with dedicated amplifier gives you rich audio quality in the front speakers.
IR blaster to control your TV and provide you a guide with recomendations and reminders.
Non of the these features are available in the Xperia Z. It's only has water resistance as a new feature. Therefore it's meaningless that comparing Xperia Z with HTC One.

I still will go for Sony, just bought XZ, performance nice, ntg regret for buying XZ, it is design is better than one for me. Sony wont lost, becoz Sony have many product, not only smartphone, just like samsung, samsung have fridge also. Htc only sell smartphones. In Japan, majority use sony and apple. But I hate apple, it's very complicated, especially copy music to apple iphone or iPad, I'm not saying htc is lousy, I means all smartphone has advantages and also has disadvantages. So Z and s4 and one will become android trio best phone. But I will go for Z

Oh my god dont even compare htc one to experia z please. I like what the other person said. That sony is putting water resistance to every phone to attract people because they dont have anything more to offer. And please the screen of sony sucks big time. Its like the full brightness of it is just one third of what the one can offer. The ui and software of sony is boring and bad. Scrolling up or down lags like crqzy.It doesnt handle games that good as well whereas htcand samsung runs smoothly. I dont know why people in our country likes sony its the worst brand really. Id rather use an lg phone even if it looks cheap.

Maybe some ghost seems to have been attracted by the craftsmanship htc put into it and controlling it. Or maybe u bought it under contract thats why software is buggy. Or maybe u r missing a setting or something.

HTC One is super masterp... morethanks for posting that. i think the droid DNA will be replaced by the new butterfly S. i have the HTC one and my wife has HTC one also. if i didnt have it i would have considered the butterfly S but i probably would have still bought the HTC one as it is the best phone i have ever used. also, the new note size HTC one will be released if rumors are true. that will be something to consider! the butterfly s has 3200 mh battery just imagine what the battery size of a note sized phone will be for HTC! maybe 4000 mh??

Why people say xperia Z is better. HTC One is super masterpiece compare to xperia Z. That’s why HTC One is selling really well than xperia Z.
Xperia Z not even in US 20 bestsellers.

This so call flagship HTC One is nothing more then any regular phone. First, when the phone is lock, unlocking it takes a couple of seconds before it gives me the home screen. Second, The default home screen came with it is useless and not remove able. Third, when receiving/making calls, I can hear people on the other side but they can't hear me. This happens 80% of the times even though signal is 3 or 4 bars. Fourth, initially the battery last very good and I was very impressive with it until 2 months later, the battery starts to empty pretty fast. Lastly, I turned off the Wi-Fi and even uncheck the auto notification and auto connect but the phone still automatically connecting to Wi-Fi by itself. This phone does look nice but other than that it's not that impressive.

sry guys to have interrupted you i am an htc fan but i always respected sony bcz i always thought that htc and sony should collaborate bcz i think both company think the same regardless design and features but if u look at both company from the general view you will notice that they have a lot in common and in fact they should work not against each other but against the one common enemy the stupid ridiculous company samsung no offense but why the stone age people still have something called button the only buttons should be volume and power and that is it and what is worse is the bloody hell plastic it is like a children's toy i wouldn't buy that to my five year old children i don't care if there phone can fly bcz for sure when it land it will break so sony and htc shouldn't fight each other and leave those idiot samsung fan think that they are the new god phone
