hey guys....I am interested in buying this excellent device but the only thought holding me back is the battery issue after 2 years, Since I am spending 40K on a handset I expect it to last for atleast 3 to 4 years..... any opinions..

I love the HTC One, but when I compare the photo's to my older HTC One X, they don't cut it. I sure hope they can fix it with the next software upgrade.

Few weeks ago I took my family to a fancy restaurant for diner and luckily we came across with a birthday party of the restaurant owner. After finishing the diner, the cakes were quickly displayed to the table, and then I saw a lot of phones were taken out to catch that particular moment. The owner of restaurant then started to take pictures with her family and friends, the first group jumped to her side was her husband and the couple of her sister, she then handed out her phone which I saw very well it was with the mark of Samsung to one of their friends to make a shot for them, however, after waited for quite a long time, I saw the guy was having a problem to make a shot, and asking for moving to a brighter location to try again. Viewing the situation is getting embarrassing that long line have been already waiting for taking a picture with the birthday star, I offered a help to try with my phone. With their consent, I stepped forward to a proper position and snapped the shot for less than 1 second, without using the HDR mode, or flash, the pictures looked really amazing, and awesome. I didn’t try to bash anyone there, so I showed the pictures only to the owner of the restaurant, but after seeing the pictures, she said to her husband, I told you to get me One, and you got me a GS4, and now look what a good job you have done for me. Then, I heard a guy on my back asked for a look to my phone and said he was expecting his pre-older to come in few days.
Every day when I log in to this forum, I see one or two guys claiming his/her Nokia Lumia 9XX has a better camera. I have never used Lumia before, nor to all of my friends, so I can't give any comment for that, but all I want to ask is do you feel proud of your phone?

Ty G., dude... maybe you have a One X with 8 mp... :))) Everyone, stop fighting, check the camera samples here on gsmarena!!! Compare the One with S3 for example and scale them both to 3mp, so it's an equal resolution. It's clear the S3 takes better photos. After you do that, I would like to see your responses. Please tell me the reason why the S3 photo looks better! Please do! I am very curios what your opinions are.

Sam, 14 Jun 2013I really like HTC phones,currently using their One V (which... moreif you'll just post pics on FB, the HTC One camera is more than sufficient.. if you'll pixel peep, enlarge your photos for other purposes, other smartphones wont satisfy you either.. i take lots of pics as well, the HTC One is more than capable especially in low light.. if i want pro quality pics, i'll use a "bridge" cam or dslr

Anonymous, 13 Jun 2013No usb otg USB OTG is there but for using it you should use a third party file manager. I'm currently using Astro file manager and it does all the tricks for me.... ;)

Some photos Lumia 920 produced vivid colours, but details wise HTC One is good. Last moth I have firmware update HTC One, after that camera is even more perfect.

Ive tried the Camera of S4 and XPERIA Z their camera is also way better than this HTC ONE. Infact I regret so much why I puchased this Handset.

I really like HTC phones,currently using their One V (which has been very loyal to me so far)interested in this one,but i've heard from many people that it's camera is not good and S4 and Xperia Z have better cameras(to be very honest i'm not at all interested in S4 or Z)is it true??Also the battery is a bit weak??I'm not a heavy user,just use my phone for calls,txts,facebook(sometimes)but i love to click pictures.Need some advice from HTC One users.
