Millions buying Apple products don't even worry about this anymore. We have never been able to take the battery out of an iPhone (or a mac for years now) and we are doing just fine.
If it has a bad battery, take it in and get a new phone.
If the battery is fine out of the box, by the time it goes to thousands of charge cycles and it starts losing its ability to maintain a full charge, you will be on the market for a new phone.

The 4MP camera on this phone will satisfy most people because most people's pictures live in their phones to post to social networking sites. On the phone, the pictures look perfectly fine, provided you get used to focusing it right and working with this camera.
I think a lot of the kinks now with the camera will be worked out in updates.
The lack of Megapixels isn't a big issue unless you open them in photoshop and zoom in all the way to look for flaws.

The HTC ONE's camera is not even better than the GS4 13MP camera. The quality check right here is proof. Also, the countless HTC ONE vs GS4 vs iPhone 5 camera reviews on the net that have sample pictures, they all agree the HTC ONE doesn't perform as well as the others.
The only area where the HTC ONE's camera out performs the others is when you are taking picture in very low light conditions. Otherwise, as you can clearly see in the check here and countless other comparison pictures, the HTC ONE really isn't better than the other super phone cameras.
The HTC ONE takes OK pictures and in some cases pixelated pictures and sometimes awful pictures if you don't focus it properly.

The HTC ONE has a lot of new technology built into the Camera. Go to the website for a better explanation as to why it is only 4MP.
In reality, you can open the "check quality" link right here in gsmarena and compare the HTC ONE to the Galaxy S4 for example.
In the Photo Compare tool choose 'Scaled to 3MP" and choose the Poster option.
As you can see, the HTC one isn't as smooth and clear as the Galaxy S4. It takes good pictures, but because it has a low 4MP you can see artifacts and pixelation that the GS4 renders smooth.
It's right there. There is no denying it.
The one thing that the HTC ONE excels at is the Low Light conditions. Because of the low 4MP combined with the technology on the camera, where the GS4 takes a picture where you can hardly see anything, the HTC ONE takes in light from anywhere and takes a bright picture where there's hardly any light.
So, since people don't really go "develop" pictures anymore, to be honest, they look great on the HTC ONE screen and they're just fine to post on Facebook or Instagram, which is what most people will do.
Otherwise, if you want to take pictures to later work on the in Photoshop or do some other kind of professional work, then get another phone.
If you only care about the Camera, then buy a Nokia 808 Pureview.

Bappy, 10 May 20134 mp Cam will not satisfy most of the PeopleBecause most of the people stare blind at megapixels. HTC took a gamble with it's 4MP camera. I think they delivered well, despite being it a 4MP. Can't say that about other manufacturers.

One ultra pixel is approxim... morePixel is the resolution and this phone has the resolution that is equal to 4.1 mega pixel (aprox. 4 million pixels, correct me if i am wrong). Ultra pixel is the marketing name of Htc for the solution of the light sensors (pixels) which are greater in size than competitors, but the resolution is still 4.1 mpx.
Try to not get confused over resolution vs marketing name of technology.

[deleted post]It is not really 4 mega pixel. One ultra pixel is approximately 2 mega pixel. So this 4 ultra megapixel camera is indeed equivalent to a 8 MP camera. Look at earlier posts on this forum regarding this matter. Don't just put comments without any due knowlege or looking, otherwise, it is really ignorant.

and the mani drop back is its camera its only 4MP and
