right now i am using iphone5 n i would like to change ... moreBefore changing you have to be aware that you will ne changing the software too (from ios to android os) and there can be some issues for you ( i am an android user for more than 3 years now and have no issues at all but is more complex as user interface).
As hardware i think it is better because is newer than iphone 5 but than again think what will you use your phone for?! If you are a heavy user or want to become one thant go for it...or just need a change and want to have best looking phone of the moment with super powerful hw you can do it too:-)
Go hold it, go play with Htc one and then decide.
Good look and hope you will be happy with your decision!

[deleted post]It is a Taiwan company not Chinesse. Has very good built quality and is one of the top producers of smartphones (started as a company that made computers High Tech Computers and i think that produced one of the first smartphonee for sony ericsson,then produced the first android phone and first nexus device).
search google, wikipedia before saying ugly things that aren't true. It is not nice.

I have One for nearly two months now and all I have to say it's wonderful phone. Take also into account fresh update improves camera performance in day light which makes this phone truly amazing. I am using power save on mode combined with qualcom guru app last time I had two full days on average use brightness set to 50procent. I had originally ordered Z but due to low battery performance and average screen quality I've canceled. I don't much care about water proof ability of Z so HTC makes perfect phone for me. Oh and loudspeakers are absolute delight. Hope it helps

I have had the HTC one for 3wks now and found it very good easy to use etc although while playning music and FB my friends the back of the phone got really really hot I stop all features and apps and let it cool down at this time I am wondering is their something I should be worried about
