fellow powerfull htc one x users. please i have a challenge
with my fone. when ever d battry drops with a bar
d fone goes off.and when i switch it on, it goes off again when registring with network. but when i remove the sim card, and on it. it works normal for the rest of the day til d battry get totaly drained. it could last up to 24hrs. what can i do please i love this phone. my email is eday56@gmail.com. ideas wil be appriciate. thanks in advance

Anonymous, 03 Apr 2013It has become quite obvious that many people have no idea w... moreThey use the word ultra pixel because this same size lens has the tendency to collect 13 megapixel of information if size per pixel is reduced to 1.2-1.5um. which is now 2um. So, the lens capable of doing 13 MP has been given bigger per pixel size to take less pixels and more information per pixel. BOLD MOVE.

the mega prefix is supposed to mean x10^6 pixels so 4 megapixels is 4000000 pixels, ultra is not an SI prefix so the net higher prefix should be giga

it's so ideal phone from htc my next phone is the one very nice design i love it the htc HTC Sense UI v5 are great other ui are funny against it

How can you say that the phone has 4 UltraPixels?
Do you even know what you are saying? The resolution of the image is 2688 x 1520 by pixels, and if you multiply those you'll get a number close to 4 million, which is exactly what "MEGA" means, a million.
UltraPixel is just a term, a name of the technology they are using.
I've seen a lot of comments telling that GSMARENA is wrong and the camera is not 4MP but rather a 4UP, which is plain stupid.
I just hope that GSMARENA includes a bit of info on UltraPixels, so people don't bash with their ignorant comments.

Plz dont cheat ppl. Ths is nt 4MP . Its 4 ultra MP that has pixels within pixels, technically called sub pixel technology in order to focus the light at a deeper angle...and what uncle sammy has done do S4 running on two quad core processors with different clocks tht doesnt get synchronized. ?.

JR: Some of the early criticism of the One has been that images captured with its camera tend to look grainy and overly processed with noise reduction when viewed at full resolution -- particularly with shots captured in well lit conditions. What's your take on that criticism?
Whitehorn: I'd highlight that those were preproduction units. We had an automatic ISO issue that's been resolved and fixed pre-production launch. ... All those issues shouldn't be there [in final consumer versions of the phone].

Does anyone know the following.If I am able yo purchase an HTC One from China with the benfit of having Dual Sim and MicroSD slot, would that phone be able to work properly in South Africa that will be getting the HTC One without those features.??? Thanks!!!

If the stock player doesn't play something, just go to play store and download another. 1 minute? I use dice player for .mkv and mx player for everything else. It's android after all..
