The Xperia is really washed out, blacks are grey, contrast levels are the worst I've seen on a flagship and viewing angles are awful. And the HTC one is much better than nexus, you must physically check it out for yourself.

Pixels are dots in the sensor, which ‘collect’ light, so a 4-megapixel camera will have 4 million pixels. The reason why the UltraPixel camera can produce great pictures even though it has a lesser megapixel count than its rivals is due to the fact the pixels are up to three times larger than ‘regular’ megapixels. As a result, these UltraPixels are able to collect more light than regular megapixels, meaning better performance.

Sometimes, cramming more megapixels in to a sensor can result in image noise (interference and pollution within an image) due to of a lack of light collected. Having fewer pixels but making them larger means each UltraPixel can work harder to gather more light, resulting in more detail and accurate colour representation in pictures.

Is this phone natively supporting USB Audio out? Plan to put better DAC there. Beats enhancement is suck, all my cans can't sing at all.

jk, 18 Mar 2013Your welcome, I've taken photos of my fireplace with just ... moreHDR on cameras is generally missused... The proper use of HDR camera setting is to take a picture of a subject who has sun or bright light shining in his back. Usually that makes the sky too bright and the subject dark in the face but HDR manages to make the sky normal and the brightness of the subjects face normal... HDR is not supposed to be used in normal lighting conditions where the light shines upon the subjects face, be it a person or an object. Anyways, HTC One has the best HDR feature. Better than Xperia Z for instance. ONE'S CAMERA IS TRULY GREAT FOR A SMARTPHONE.

I've taken photos of my fireplace with just one dim lamp in the corner. It pics up more light and true colours of the bricks than you can actually see with the naked eye. With hdr on, it's even brighter but you loose slight detail, (i think it works better outdoors). I took use photo of my garden in bright daylight and shade in same pic. Hdr brought lots of detail and light to the dark areas, I've never seen this on a camera phone before.

Plz don't bitch about camera. When u can't afford to observe ur self so just f@/+ up. HTC is best. Cheap plastic GS4 Is also good but just hardware wise , same design same UI.
Best screen , camera and quality. Wish I would have one HTC ONE.

Well I am quite smitten by ones design and ergonomics and unable to find those features on s4 useful.

                                  My last question:
What's your personal opinion regarding the camera?
                                  Thanks in advance

I already love every aspect... moreIn specs there pribebly isn't much difference between this and the s4, I really like the screen, sound and build of this which made it obvious to me this is better. Or you should probably wait for both to be in stores and have a play on them as after all, getting a device is purely personal preference.
