Google HTC one camera comparisons, it isn't hard unless your trolling ????

the one x is famous for having an amazing camera, this phone has a completely different sensor, the only similarity being the very good lens that's in both phones.
its 4UP not MP. UP and MP are different technologies.
look at the pictures it takes, they are excellent.
and if you think the N8 took great pictures, you clearly don't notice digital noise.
why dont you go and buy a 920 and see how far nokia have decended into bricklike unreliable trash.

professional cameras (nikon, canon) have 12 mpx and they cost 2 000 euros. size of the sensor and quality of lens are important parts... end of story.

H-fan, HTC uses the same optics as One X/+ which is not best known for good quality and it slashed the resolution to 4MP so they could have a Pixel size of 2.0 µm(N8 has 1.75). It's a fine line between fanboysm denial and accepting the true facts and you crossed it bravely. If you like the phone nobody's stopping you from buying One:), but don't lie to yourself that it beats even N8 when it comes to camera.

Crikey some of these arguments are pointless. People moaning about a camera they've never even used. I've had my HTC ONE for 3 days now and love it. Screen is amazing and whilst i'm a fan of AMOLED the natural colours on the ONE are better. Let me tell you the sound quality on this phone has to be heard to be believed, its incredible. Camera i think is good. Lots of cool features and does the job and Zoe and the retouch features are great. Its not the greatest but if you want great pictures buy a DIGITAL CAMERA. Battery life appears very good. Lasting me a whole day easily, heavy WIFI, music and web browsing. I liked my S3 and Note 2...i LOVE this phone.

Guys HTC One is not a mega pixal camera. It is ultra mega pixal camera. Camera quality is to good compare to other brands who give 13MP. Dont campare camera with other brands pleaseeeeee...

I currently own the One S and the reason why I will NOT upgrade to the ONE is because of the two things that completely put me off about the One S. #1. No MicroSD slot. The Samsung has up to 64GB of storage on boar, PLUS a MicroSD slot for up to 64GB additional storage. Hey, I may not NEED 128GB of storage on my Smartphone, but it's nice to know I have the option. #2. Embedded battery. Sometimes the battery craps out, or you may need to slip in a spare. Thanks, but no thanks HTC. I'll be going with the S4.

If you look at photo comparisons between the HTC One and let's say the Samsung Galaxy SIII, the Galaxy will give better image quality on reasonable lighting because of its 8MP camera - even though it has no "Ultrapixels".
So, 4 "Ultrapixels" is definitely not equivalent to any 13MP camera, let alone anything higher than 4MP.

people stop saying that because it has a 4mp camera it is bad, the sensor of the camera is what matters, 1.2mp or somewhere around that area is full HD resolution, so that 4mp is equivalent to any 13mp device as long as the sensor is good , the nokia n8 has a 12mp but the photos suck, because of the cheap sensor and the htc one has a very good sensor

The htc one is a surely wel crafted, beautifully built with high specifications and a full HD phne. .what more could a person ask for...
I had high expectations with the latest flagship of Samsung ...in my opinion they failed to bring something new and innovative. ..
Well done htc...this phone is surely a high end device fr the consumers to look out in 2013...
I hope it wina the best device of 2013 at the MWC
