hi guys...
i am planning to buy a new andorid phone and i am confused between HTC ONE and SAMSUNG S4. As per the spec. of both the S4 has 13 mp and HTC ONE only has 4 mp. but in few comments i had read this one has ultrapixel. and i am not sure is that. could someone please help me in this........

ultrapixel is just a marketing name, means that are 4 mpixels photos, yes each pixel of the sensor is bigger, but the resulting photo is a 4mpixel photo... so it doesn't mean anything, i can call it "noname pixel" but the result is the same, photo is 4 mpixel..
nokia pureview uses similar technology, and eac productor could use a 1/3" sensor with less megapixel (but bigger), and call it supermegapixel, ultrapixel, wonderfulpixel or whatever...
sensor is as big as the one on xperia z for example, but xperia z has more smaller pixel =more detail but more noise cause each pixel takes less light, htc one has less detail but less noise (this is theory, on real application, we have to see)

hi everyone,
don't you have something to converse about apart from the camera of this phone? it is so tedious to read and hear one thing come on guys...There's a new technology on this phone apart from camera that we can all tackle. HTC for life no matter what...

AnonD-118740, 28 Feb 2013This phone has 4 UltraPixels which are larger than ordinar... moreNo. IPhone 5 gave more detail, and the difference was substantial. If this is an 8 mpix cam them is a bad one. I like to day is a good 4mpix cam and guess what?? That's exactly what it is.
I noticed it feel on the daily interest reaming to below xperia Z. No surprise there, the Z been stable on our near the top of the list fire a very long time, this HTC doesn't have what it takes to stay there. A few more days at best.

Why don't some people visit the main HTC site and study the specifications about this phone, or other phones, before asking stupid questions or making inaccurate comments! UltraPixels are NOT megapixels!

kojomich, 28 Feb 2013why is the pixel just 4mp, there should be something more t... moreThe MP rating is different compared to conventional cameras. This camera is an Ultra Pixel design where the sensors are much larger than typical. The end result is supposed better low light performance.
I hope it is on par with the 920, if so. I am sold..

Anonymous, 28 Feb 2013memory is not expandable? is this another iPhone?No, iphones are so behind its not funny. Its beging to show on their share price. Its nice to see people finally opening their eyes to specs. The htc SV has the same specs as the iphone 5 and I would pick it over it. But it dose really show the power of American marketing, make a lower spec phone and charge more and get away it. Fair play.
