EB, 13 Dec 2018I'm 12 and I am getting this phone for xmas do u recommend it? At this point I wouldn't pay money for it used (if you somehow found it new then you're a lucky kid) but if it's not in bad shape I would absolutely recommend this phone. I've had mine since 2013 and it's run everything I've thrown at it. I'm actually trying to replace it now, only because the battery is shot. I highly recommend picking up a power bank because you'll need it to get through the day.

Best phone ever, HTC is the best phone brand too, some times high priced but completely worth it. I'm thinking of buying a HTC U12+.

I loved my one of these. It was the nicest smart phone in that little era. I had an Asus zenbook laptop as well and they went together well. The battery was too small though and this unit aged very poorly in terms of performance. Last year it was 4 years old and basically unusable. It felt like the same issue the original Nexus 7 tablets had with faulty memory, becoming crazy slow to navigate but then running well within a game or app. It remained the nicest little device to hold though, being almost the perfect size and shape for a phone. By comparison, a $150 generic Chinese phone, bought as a spare, runs much better. It's sad because the specs are still higher.
