HTC's new design is not good. Just compare the dimensions with slll n optimus g pro. slll is less taller with 0.1 inche larger display, and optimus g pro is only 2mm taller than HTC one with 0.8 inche larger display. HTC has decrease the size of display bt users won't get any advantage coz the phone's dimensions remains same. its really bad!!!

What's wrong with those companies today? no sd-card slot? non-removable battery? It's like an iPhone with android on it.

And those who r bargaining about battery life: hav you checked the endurance rating of htc butterfly? Butterfly has 0.3" bigger display than One and has 280mAh lower battery capacity than One. Still better than A N Y Lumia... So?

@muhammad umair : Pakistan has messed up a lot over Political issues creating an unfriendly environment for Business Ventures ! Companies try to stay away from such situations. I Doubt this will get launched in Pakistan anywhere in this Year !

Right, this will not save HTC from failure. Thing's I don't like (everyone can have their own opinion). 1. Multitasking button has gone, yes you can double tap the home button but the best thing about android is quick multitasking and they have really ruined that experience. 2. I like the fact it doesn't have a 5" display but the phone is massive, way too much needless space. 3. 2300mah, a 1080p phone needs to be a minimum of 2500 to last a day with regular use. ideally 3000mah. 4. The design is not my taste but again thats my opinion. 5. is the power button on the top left. this is fine if your left handed but majority use there phone in their right hand. Using it one handed and the size of the phone, this will be very hard to reach that power button.
Obviously, I haven't had a go on the device but I definitely won't be buying one anytime soon. Here's still holding out for the Motorola X phone (if it exists)

and this is not 4 Ultra pixels(UP), it's still 4MP, Ultra pixels just their technologie's name

Kudos to HTC for not going to 5" crowd, its too big for many people. G Pro has 5.5" display, huh! G Pro isnt a phone. Xperia Z design is outdated, Z looks ugly with its flat design. I liked the Zero Gap Aluminium body of HTC One. Its just amazing. It has 64GB version so dont need microSD slot like Xperia Z. Xperia Z only support microSDHC cards - means upto 32GB.. And has a builtin mem of only 16GB... Shame for sony, how they compete with HTC One 64GB version?
HTC One is just the phone I used to dream for. Dual frontal speaker simply rock - no other phone can beat it.

This phone looks and reads amazingly well. I like where HTC have been heading with One S etc.. (love that S) but this one is still way big.Its bigger than IPhone, Sony One X etc. i want to support this one but will wait for something a little more pocket friendly from HTC. Ps, the excess real estate could have been trimmed from the One S allowing for a bigger screen without a bigger phone. A win. Anyway, well done.

Its not a 4Mp camera,its a 4ultra pixel camera...which means 1 Ultra pixel is equal to 20 MP camera...
