Love the specs hate the design. I guess i'll go with the z for design. Waiting for battery test ti decide between one and z. Please don't say that s4 will be better. I don't want a "DISPOSABLE" phone!

MadHairSilence, 19 Feb 2013I dnt know why people are much concerned about the fix stor... moreso if u want record lots of HD footage u cant because there is no option for SD cards? so why have HD options but limit to how much space u can have without upgrading to cards... really stupid.. and top of that lame battery that is weak and u cant remove that either....

htc is dead this year after galaxy s4 comes trust me :)

Funny, the latest version of Android is 4.2.2, released 8 days ago... so if you have something newer, maybe you should show it to Google?

Pathetic battery capacity...the usual HTC hallmark. Don't even consider this one, guys.

This phone seemed to have really great specs, beautifully designed and is made of sturdy material such as aluminum until...Boink....4MP main camera? What the heck? it says ultrapixels though as a justification but what exactly is an ultrapixel? its supposedly better because it's megapixels are bigger than the megapixels on competing cameras. Seems to be just a marketing ploy to me. Have to wait for reviews to determine whether it's any good at all.

You have a mobile device , not a file server. 64 GB is far enough for a smart phone!

Impecable design. Superb video, great audio. Top of the crop specifications. This phone gets 10/10/10 from me.

+GSMARENA HTC uses flash player in their web browser so you better change the specs ;)

The game of "MegaPixel" is over now, its going to be a revolution with "UltraPixel". HTC has labeled this as 'UltraPixels' and it is capable of capturing 313% more light than smaller pixeled sensors.HTC explained that the UltraPixel sensor allows it to double the size of photos taken on the 8-megapixel sensor.

faishu, 19 Feb 2013dude but s4 does not have hardware qualityWait for it to launch then see it for yourself.

AnonD-109911, 19 Feb 2013Exact copy and concepts of Windows Metro UI. Nothing any ne... moreTrue, you could say the design is from Z10, aluminium unibody from iphone 5 and blink feed is from WP.

As for the first and second, the design looks great, there are a few extras like dual loud speakers. Whether similar to other eesigns or not, it gets a huge thumbs up from me.

As far as blinkfeed goes - yeah, it copies WP but it's android. You can make it look like anything you want - any experienced user will probably switch it out sooner than later.

What's really interesting and completely unnecessary is the buttons.
Home - double tap for task switcher and press and hold for google now? Those are iphone controls. Any android user will be trained to long press home for task switcher. Why did HTC have to do that. For android, the reverse controls are appropriate?

Back - long press for task killer. This is from WP and annoys me the most. Why couldn't they just integrate the task killer into the task switcher? Now you have two interfaces which look different but do about the same thing to the novice user - talk about inconsistency and confusion.

Just feels like HTCtried to reinvent the wheel for no good reason here

Those are my major gripes. But those put aside, the phone is mighty impressive. I still rate it 10 all around for the time being. HTC deserves that...
