Will get E8 by the end of this month :)Yes htc e8 is definitely better than z2 in terms of reliability . the overheating issue sadly persists in all z series devices with sony turning a deaf year to its customers . the overheating and cracking issues are even in the new z series. Get the m8 if u can afford the extra 10k otherwise unser 35k htc e8 is indefinitely better than any other device including note series and others .The other alternative is the moto x(2014) but its speakers and cam are not that good.One thing good about the e8 is that since it shares the same internals as its older brother it will recieve all the updates the m8 gets .so the next 2-3 major updates are guaranteed.

Does E8 have OTG support? and I am confus... moreOn paper Z2 is the beast and is better than E8 in every single aspect apart from speakers, But many people are complaining about severe heating problems and there are thousands of similar Self-Cracking glass complaints flooding the internet about the Xperia Z2 and whole Z series lineup of Sony. So I suggest you to not for Z2 and go for E8 as it is the best phone under 32k at the moment and Yes it does support USB OTG.

Maybe I got a dud or something close to it, after 1 week, the screen started fail. After sending back to the customer service, the issue was not resolved, so I sent it in for another time. This time i encountered the dreaded purple tint on my camera which made me had to sent it back to customer service again. When I finally received my phone I found out there was connectivity issue with WI-FI and bluetooth which was not present when I sent it in for camera issue.
After all these repairs, I noticed multiple crack along the side of the LCD where it meets the polycarbonate chassis.
Lack of stock file manager.
Matte surface seems to be easily scratched without protection.

This phone is great in music as I am using
BOSE on ear head phone to listen songs.I have Samsung Note-3, Apple 4s also. But in music it's best.

It depends on materials you prefer whether plastic or metal. Even though E8 is plastic it's feels good in hand unlike the cheap Samsung materials I've used, but no doubt M8 has the best design in the market right now but its slippery and it gets smudges on the back. Both of them does not have the best camera but decent as E8 is more suited to daylights situations similarly M8 for Lowlights. If you're willing to pay extra 10k for the IR blaster and Metal design you can go for M8 otherwise E8 is the best option

According to rumors, they'll release in this month. Right now I'm using Astro File manager which supports all the file operations including both internal and external memory. This phone supports both English and Chinese and also all the major languages.
