I stay in Nigeria and I'm currently using the HTC one e8 single SIM i've been unable to upgrade it to 6.0 (marshmallow) despite it being out on other phones

For the prople looking for 4G:
HTC E8 dual sim is having international version (frequency) of 4G. People can get 4G in India by using Vodafone. Thanks.

Updated to Marshmallow since the beginning of the year. I sent a tweet to HTC requesting for the update and in less than a week I got the update OTA!

very bad response from htc. i was updating my htc one e8 to androiad 6 but it stops working while installation. i went to service center, they said, we have to change motherboard.

I am using E8 Dual Sim since Jan'15. I haven't received update notification to marshmallow. But from the user reviews i find that most of the users now have Marshmallow installed. What might be the reason for me missing the update. Pls help

The OTG for HTC E8 does not work for me anymore (single-sim).
I've checked HTC file manager, and the USB storage tab is gone.
Tried to uninstall update for the File Manager, and it appears.
However, my phone still can't detect my USB OTG.
I don't understand why HTC would remove this feature for me.
Anyone having the same problem for single sim HTC E8?

Please I'm in Nigeria, I use an HTC one e8 and I've been unable to update out from kitkat to lollipop or even marshmallow, please I need help, I've tried updating it from the settings menu to no avail, it says it is up to date, help please..

I have this for over a year,i should say its the best phone i have ever had in my pocket! the size is great,easy for everyday usage.camera is not the best possible in this price,outdoor photos in good light conditions are great,but there is an overall darkness in photos.i will give 8 of 10 to camera.battery life gets 9 of 10,and the display is 9.you wont see any lag on this phone and the audio quality is brilliant!!!!
