I have this for over a year,i should say its the best phone i have ever had in my pocket! the size is great,easy for everyday usage.camera is not the best possible in this price,outdoor photos in good light conditions are great,but there is an overall darkness in photos.i will give 8 of 10 to camera.battery life gets 9 of 10,and the display is 9.you wont see any lag on this phone and the audio quality is brilliant!!!!

This is a great phone. After Marsh update, I feel this phone is the best it can be - lots of nice features. Best sound quality for music and Vids; and super quick response. Everything is perfect. If you have issues then reset phone after update and then disable any apps you don't need. This a very good phone for normal use, now.

Hii Guys,
After updating phone to marshmallow I'm facing few problems.
I did factory reset phone several time but problem is still there, I have observed similar problem on HTC ONE M8 Eye after MM update.
My problem is as follows :
Whenever i switch off my phone and restart it after some time,
After HTC Logo, window come saying Android is updating, Optimising apps 107, 160, 80 etc, Different number each time.
But after completing the optimising, again phone restarts.
Again HTC logo and Android is updating.
This keeps on happening in loop, till phones battery dies.
After phone is completely discharge i charge it 5% or so and factory reset it with volume down and power key button.
I have to factory reset phone every time I switch of my Phone.
So practically I Just can't switch off my phone to avoid the restart loop and factory reset.
Please help.
Also when I ccess quick toggles from lock screen, I just can't close that back until I unlock the phone.

hello all,
I updated my E8 to lollipop from Kit Kat yesterday. and now when i try to update it for marshmallow, phone says, system is up to date, no updates found. how did you guys update to marshmallow?

4G version comes with single sim and Dual sim Version Doesn't support 4G....

htc m8 was updated by the company for 4g but not for htc one e8 dual sim.am i correct gsm arena people
i bought htc one e8 dual sim after thoroghly reading your website.
but htc website for htc one e8 dual sim says only 2gand 3g

If there is no 4g then why on my box is written 4g? Send i would like to ask how can i distinguish between the clone of E8 with original as i m doubt ful on mine... Any one help pls...thanks

Guys I am unable to use airtel 3g as this only shows 2g in sim1,android M. However I can use 3g with reliance. My airtel sim works perfect in other mobile.
Please also use custom Rom if want something more

Anyone seeing issue with GPS? While using maps, the phone takes about 7-10 mins to receive the GPS signal. Message disgusted is "Waiting for GPS..."

Yes, Marshmallow also improves the battery life. I'd suggest you to backup all your data, update the phone to Marshmallow and then perform a factory reset from the recovery and from the phone's settings. You can also wipe the cache partition and then reboot the phone.
