If 50K is your budget, then HTC One M8 is the best buy: if you want all the functionality of HTC One M8 at a great price, then HTC One E8 is a good option. Samsung Galaxy S5 Series is good, but personally, I was done with Samsung devices. Also, I was sure if the DUOS variants of Samsung Galaxy S series had the same premium feel of their Single SIM variants. Personally, I would move on with HTC for the Stereo speakers: that is a major plus point.

OK, Folks, I just got off a chat with a HTC representative: countered her about the 4G support on HTC One E8: firstly, she had me rolling on the floor (I can't remember if I was laughing or crying) when she said that the 4G would work only if you were roaming!!!! I asked her that people, for saving roaming costs, would switch off even GPRS/Edge/3G DATA while roaming, and now HTC was expecting us to use the option of 4G on roaming!! Made her thinking and then after putting me on hold, she confirmed that HTC was to release a patch that enables the phone to work on 4G networks very soon: it is an official communication that I have taken a screenshot of. She refused to commit on the possible dates, but said VERY SOON!!!
So, folks contemplating on this device, I think you guys can now look forward to the device, and actually go for it, while we wait for the patch to enable 4G usage. Once they release the patch, it is going to be a struggle with the networks, on compatibility: but since Airtel is the only one, I am almost certain that HTC will release a patch that will take care of usability on Airtel 4G.

I was getting bored of the same user interface all the time and the same gestures in Samsung. The Camera is pretty good: what is happening is that people compare the camera of the HTC One E8 with the HTC One M8 camera and this is where you may be disappointed. Samsung camera was undoubtedly the best available, but please note that this camera would be available only on premium Galaxy S series: and they are already 25% to 30% costlier than the HTC One E8. I would advise this:
If Camera is the main criterion and budget is not the issue, then go for the HTC One M8, instead of the Samsung Galaxy S5: M8 comes in a metallic package, with exciting accessory options. You may want to see the LG G3 too!!! All are priced within striking range of each other.
But if you seem to be wanting a Dual SIM as the main criterion, then HTC One E8, which comes with a decent camera option is the best choice: given that this is the only one 4G capable Dual SIM in the market for now.

I also read a review somewhere that this camera could be compared to S5 and for the prices, the same specs coming for about 25% lower and with Dual SIM support, the HTC One E8 Made better sense.

The startup is on Chinese, but I don't speak Chinese, so I don't understand. The HTC market is Chinese, I can't access the regular English Google play or so. It's not possible to install google services, at all. I wander whether rooting would help.

This is unusual. The phone is awesome. Go for a replacement. Also, use a company provided Nano SIM. Don't cut from a Micro SIM.
