Seriously this phone priced at 35000 is not a best buy phone at that price point.It is offering the high end Snap 801 and remaining features are easily available at less price point.
+ Build quality is good(price drop is mainly due to dropping Metal)
+ Major features like Snap 801,2gb Ram,Fhd screen are good.
But Disappointing features are
- Camera which is same as like 816 not good and camera having only single Led flash after spending 35000 i should expect a better camera with Dual Led Flash but single led flash will be disappointing at night as said by all experts.
- No USB otg feature can't connect any usb devices
- No infrared port
- India Lte bands are unsure no confirmation from HTC have to wait till 15Aug.
# Conclusion: Htc have introduced a htc china E8 model in india without including more features(dual sim) but increase in price..Htc E8 china model features are doing more than a justice with their price(INR 27000)and thats why a hit in china but India htc E8 model is not Doing justice with their price(INR 35000).
I will recommend this phone only for those who are looking for Nexus 5(32gb) as it is better than Nexus 5 but Nexus 5 is going to be 1 year old.

GOD DAMN HTC !! how many months more will you make us wait for the phone.
No sign of HTC One E8 in indian stores.I think before its available in India ,samsung s6 would have been available in stores.

before buy htc 616 at 16 or 17k's ... please go and compare the specs with xiaomi mi3 and asus zenfone 5.
focus on.... cpu, gpu, hsdpa, camera clarity, display and price. if you want just a brand name then htc is good. if u want a good spec for at the costlessly then find another taiwan product asus zenfone or even better spec and a great performance mi3 of xiaomi... i would say htc 616 is a waste of time....

Have been eagerly waiting to buy this device! But gsmarena review of it is slightly demotivating. Specially bcs of rear camera n usb. Guys do you think its worth a buy or Should I go for any alternatives ? budget 35k

No USB on the go why htc why??Its good to see somehow gsmarena managed to have a great review regarding this great phone but seriously i missed one thing in this phone and really i was not expecting this minor feature missing from this undoubtebly highly priced phone USB on the go not only good only for non expandable phone but also for connecting various usb port devices..
