NEXUS 5 is selling for 34k with snapdragon 800 with 2300 mAh battery and speaker quality is just terrible and not to mention it has 8MP camera which is very mediocre.
On other side HTC ONE E8 has
Snapdragon 801
2600 mAh battery
Boom Sound speakers
13 MP camera
Extreme power saving mode
Updates as you would get on Nexus
I believe 34 is awesome pricing within a month it will come down to 31k-32k.
When you are spending same amount of money for NEXUS what's wrong with this phone?

take some time i guess 6 months to happen and buy E8. Other option is to wait for Moto x2 which
will have more or less same specs as e8 and might come at competitive price. If you are ok with
chinese brand then you can also check out huawei honor 6 around $400 very good specs.

What I didn't like about this phone is the placement of the led flash. It is placed a bit away from the lens.It gives the phone a cheap look. Whatever be the reason, the flash shud have been closer to the lens possibly on the side like in htc 616.

The education/maturity level of your market is absolutely horrendous. You people have some of the most unrealistic expectations, you're always disappointed about specs, prices and release dates. I sometimes wish all the international mobile manufacturers would pull out and leave so you can all use your crappy tacky rubbish Micromax phones in peace.

They priced it at 34.9k in India,which is absolutely foolish from part of HTC. Even though the tax rates in India is higher HTC could have launched it at 30k and still had profits.The only reason people were excited and looking forward for this phone was because this was gonna be half the price of M8.At 35k we could get galaxy s5.The price will be cut off when sales are low.We will see

Pathetic... first they say metal bodies cannot have removeable backs. After switching to plastic (which is a more suitable material for portable consumer electronics for durability, strength-to-weight ratios, reception & wireless charging issues etc.). They still cannot change the batteries.
What's worse... 2600mAh battery only!!!
