Pathetic... first they say metal bodies cannot have removeable backs. After switching to plastic (which is a more suitable material for portable consumer electronics for durability, strength-to-weight ratios, reception & wireless charging issues etc.). They still cannot change the batteries.
What's worse... 2600mAh battery only!!!

Well that is not the case. Htc launched the desire 816 for 23,990. It was the online retailers sellling it for 27,000. Now it is selling for 23,000.So e8 will be selling for 33 to 34k. Not less than that.

HTC is releasing OTA update in Aug 14 to enable 4G LTE for india version of devices. Amazing! Premium device with Premium HTC Sense UI, nothing can beat it!

noob, 14 Jul 2014In HTC Phones you have to scroll down to see the apps on yo... moreyes u can change it. just open app drawer and hit menu key and select wht u want...

Got it on Saturday, works great, great display great build quality, great sound.
This morning i put my SIM back in my Iphone 5S, its all about software and size
i could not get used to the size and Android. Android is still not as intuitive as IOS
for the rest : great phone (oh : and also great battery life!!!!!!)

In HTC Phones you have to scroll down to see the apps on your mobile instead of swyping left to right. Is there any settings using which this problem of HTC can be sorted out and the apps can be swyped from left to right likw in all others Android phones.

If at all you handover these premium phones to a local guy, they will simply shatter you. But once you give it to the authorized service center, they will return your stuff in fully working condition with all cosmetics retained.
Trust HTC they are simply excellent workmen.

Rather tel him to wait for 2-3 months. Definately, price will be below 30k INR.
Htc desire 816 was launched before 1 month at a price of 28k INR. Now it is selling at price of 24k
