Going forward htc one e8 will only receive security updates and will not jump to marshmallow. Htc USA just tweeted me back. Bad news guys

Hey guys, I had a long online chat with HTC India rep and according to them the update is still in pipeline and they are working on releasing the update for other devices too. I think the delay in release is because the update for other devices is not ready yet, according to them, they plan on releasing the update for all the expected devices on the same day.

2nd bug : Double Tap to Wake not working when connected to usb through pc. We have to press power button to wake it while it is connected.

But it does not translate how HTC will customise it and what features will be there on HTC devices.
HTC has their own bugs to take care of.
