AnonD-399891, 28 Mar 2016HI everybody.... I saw some posts and a video in Youtube a... moreQuick settings not collapsing after the toggle has always been there in sense. Nothing new in Marshmallow.

Regarding the RAM, Linus Trovalds, the inventor of Linux said that any free memory is a waste of memory. Having 400MB of free memory is good enough. How much more do you expect? Most apps including your gallery, camera, email apps, messaging apps store their cache on your RAM and that's what enables you to access their data very fast. I get the same amount of RAM free on my Nexus 7 2013 on Marshmallow (given that it has the stock Google ROM) and it still runs smooth and no issues seen even while playing games on the tablet.
Lollipop did decrease the performance of many devices including Nexus. So, E8 isn't an odd one for issues on lollipop. The mistake that HTC did was retaining sense 6 on lollipop for 2014 devices while giving the update. Sense 6 was good and suited for KitKat. Many users who have now received 6.0.1 have reported an improvement in the performance of the phone and the battery.

AnonD-399891, 28 Mar 2016HI everybody.... I saw some posts and a video in Youtube a... moreI was the beta tester of marshmallow,HTC is really obsessed about optimizing there phone to perform best,so the ram thing can be a issue(am not saying it doesn't exist)but it is surely not in every phone as I didn't faced any issue with ram while testing it.but the lockscreen thing can exist and can be solved with a small lock screen update so don't worry.

Edit:-phone worked faster and smoother in marshmallow than in lollipop, battery also got increased in marshmallow.the update is really nice.

            HI everybody....
I saw some posts and a video in Youtube about the big 6.0.1 update
            I found 2 major flaws....
1st'ly: from lock screen if u swipe down to turn on/off wifi, data, bluetooth.. the notification window does not scroll back up even when u swipe up! need to confirm this! have'nt seen this on video but read in many a post here as well as other websites.
2nd'ly: the RAM management! saw a video, it showed it eats away 1.4GB of the RAM while only mere 400MB free RAM is available!!! that is shocking compared to Lollipop, where only 800-850MB of RAM was used and 1GB of RAM was available!
This a major set back, if only 400MB of RAM is available in Marshmallow then, the life of the phone will keep decreasing the more we use the phone! like 6 months maximum! then the urge and need would arise to replace this phone! As of now with Lollipop, i do'nt feel any need or urge to replace the phone! but if RAM management is POOR like what the video shows, then very soon the Phone will have a break down very soon, like the old Samsung Galaxy s3 after Android 4.3 update!

I am from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Second is not bug. But first one is a serious bug. On locked screen, if you pull down notification toggle to turn wifi, bluetooth or mobile data ON or OFF, the notification screen won't go back or close even if you swipe it up.

I found one bug in 6.0.1. On locked screen, if you pulled down the notification toggles, it won't go back. And another thing is, HTC Boomsound appears as a notification all the time when playing music through internal speakers. Before, in 5.0.2, only icon appears in notification. But in 6.0.1, it appears as a full notification like whatsapp or gmail. Anyone, please forward these 2 things to HTC.
