i use this phone for 6 months and it was really great and i'm sad it was lost
i used to use sony xperia L and this phone was way better than xperia
- no lag
- charge faster
- drain slower (if i don't use internet it would last for 2-3 days)
- really great camera (i'm not a camera person but, it was good)
- the display was really great

Suddenly playstore has lost its speed. Now it takes 2 hours to update or download a file of 20 MB. Can anyone tell me a solution?

Hi ..
I had the same problem earlier.
I did unlock the boot loader, install custom root , chance the radio bands .
Refer my post in XDA DEVELOPERS.. under HTC ONE E8 with screen shots .

BBB, 04 Dec 2015Hey guys. I made one silly mistake that cost me my network... moreCopy all your data to pc and Factory reset your phone. This will solve all the problems and also make your phone software like new. I suggest you do this. Although it is not compulsory to Factory Reset your phone for network settings.

Because M8 and E8 have same components except camera and infra red, And M8 got the update last week, E8 will get the update soon. Most probably in mid January.

Hey guys.
I made one silly mistake that cost me my network connection. I opened the testing menu in the HTC One E8(*#*#4636#*#*). Went to phone info. Selected three dot button and then "select radio band". ANd chose "USA Band" by mistake. I lost the network completely. Can't change it back as well. My phone is unrooted and bootloader is locked. I live in delhi and am using airtel sim if that's helpful. Plz suggest a working fix. Thanx in advance :)

Mojtaba, 27 Nov 2015I have this device . after the update to the latest softwar... moreMaybe the old Android system files are having conflict with the new Android system files which you just updated... always do a "clear cache partition" after updated your Android system... there are steps you need to follow, google it...

I have this device . after the update to the latest software version and android 5 i have a problem with it.my phone just stop working when i use it for a few minutes and then restarts...
