HTC one e8 dual sim phone is a very great ,dynamic phone for dual sim users,to day I have downloaded the recent software update,I am using the phone for the past 01 year and no meaning of hang or getting slow like someone said,really it's a class of dual sim phone!

The phone heats up during internet use
This model is not having 80(2300)MHz LTe facility in INDIA
Is it possible to upgrade to this frequency.

AnonD-347652, 11 Sep 2015I updated to lollipop and my phone battery not charging ,,,... moreI updated my phone HTC one E8 dual sim to lollipop and I never faced any issue with charging, only thing that after update to lollipop evdo problem came,and in another 2nd update this problem also got solved,again 3rd time another update came,reg some security patches update also came.presently there's no problem with my phone,working good. Call quality everything works fine.

GSM not showing signal after inserting ... moreHi if it's from India and variant HTC one E8,m8sd, you keep network of1st slot in global mode,it will work,cdma or gsm, it select automatically,so go to network settings then change 1st slot for global mode, your problem solved

US chat was much much better than Indian site. I will be shipping my mobile to HTC US service centre and will update as soon i receive it from them

Please never buy HTC phones above 15k , customer service sucks, As I have earlier mentioned about sim slot issue, whenever i try to connect HTC live chat, either they end chat after my question is posted. Today finally someone had courtesy to reply even though it didnt work

Is any one facing issue with wifi or 3g connection...coz after the recent update...once i change from wifi to mobile data...i am unable to see the H symbol...and it is taking too long to connect...also after getting connected after long time...it is not working properly...msgs are nit getting delivered...can any one help on this...Thanks!!

Then I did factory reset and downloaded some battery calibration app. Now I use my Ipad charger 2A one to charge . HTC provided a 1A charger which takes 4-5 hrs to fully charge after lollipop. With 2A , it takes 2 hrs

Just FYI a usb stick can be connected through a otg cable to the out of the box 4.4.2 single sim E8.
