cjr, 10 Sep 2015I can not change the notification ring tone ,Try the following...
1) Open sms
2) Press the 3 dots (top right corner) for drop menu
3) Select settings
4) Select notifications
5) Select notification sound
Hope this helps...

Now In US , as my airtel sim wont detect in sim 1, i have option to use either airtel or my US sim in my second slot . Ideally a single sim 2G phone while traveling abroad
On contacting HTC customer support, they told me its cdma+ gsm for indian version. But this info is not provided in htc india website. Bullshit company

All those who want to buy this phone you can, good phone for especially cdma users,,,and dual sim active feature.battery life ok.network reception good.uppgrades and updates receiving time to time,no issue with evdo data connection, 4g doubt, I'm not sure,I'm using Reliance cdma, cdma/gsm+gsm..

Kenneth, 02 Sep 2015U are a lier, am in Uganda Africa but it took me only two d... moreBoss im not criticized htc, I'm saying about service center, you may not faced problem in India. Here HTC service center very very worst. Here they appointed tvs as their service support center.but those people not able to do repair properly.and spares also not readily available with them. And in India you can enquiry anyone regarding HTC service center,then you people know what type service center they having. No doubt HTC is good company and their product also good. But if your phone get any problem,then you can't repair that mobile same day in India, they take minimum one week and after that they take another one week.you can't understand that issue,just ask anyone who gone to their service center,it's true.HTC losing credibility because of this service center.they should open a direct service outlets in India.so that they able to solve any kind of problems,.

With this price, E8 is really a great phone - Great design, solid build quality, nice display, amazing sound, smooth & stabile system (never lag / freeze), long lasting battery life... the only shortfall is the average camera... for me I''ll give 9/10, good job HTC!

In Later August 2015, Google Released Its Android M (MARSHMALLOW) 6.0 Version.
Glad To Hear That Our Phone One E8 Will Be One Among Those Receiving This Update.
May Be Till Late November !!!
But Still Waiting To Hear On 4G Band 40 (2300) Firmware From Htc For This Phone !!!

No Issues Here !!!
