I was really impressed by the service center due to the fact that I got the stability software from htc in only 2 days

This phone performs well in terms of web browsing, fast camera capture, battery saver, nice speakers and HQ video resolution. The bad side is that this phone has low camera quality, unstrategic location of power button, soft home button, slightly overheat back and htc bloatware.
I dropped the phone a lot of times, but it's still working because it's made of plastic covering. But be careful of bringing it to watery area like the toilet, because the speaker is sensitive to water. They stated it has 13MP, but the picture/video quality is probably about 7MP.
US version has low spec CPU & RAM compared to Asian version, but the US has dual sims.
Conclusion: Similar spec to HTC E8, but low camera quality and cheap.

With this update your evdo data connection issues will get solved.So search for another update which I got already after lollipop update. I also faced evdo connection issues after lollipop update. But after again I got another update which solved this issue. Hope your problem get solved with that update

The people sitting in service center not able to repair the device. They employed local non technical people inside.if you tell them product problems they even not having understand skills.that tvs service center is very worst. Small or big problem they simply tell that it takes15 days.After the15 days they tell that another10 days. You Rome around them up to 2 to 3 months and that Time they charge you almost 85% of the product costs. So that you simply don't agree for that. Then they give you old status product after one week. Means they don't repair that product.just time passes. So it's better you approach a consumer court with all proof, so you get new phone.that's the solution for you

If you wanted custom rom you should have done ur research properly and gone for a nexus or a samsung. Similarly like htc...a very few custom roms are available for the lg phones that doesnt mean they are not good devices.

buying the htc one e8 was the biggest mistake ever. It seemed like the right decision at the time, but however, there arent enough developers, users to create custom roms. There are only 2 custom ROMs in 1.5 yrs almost! (June '14 released) This alone makes me wanna tear my hair out looking at the development seen in the m8 forums ( which is an 98% similar to e8 except for nfc, dual sim and plastic body on e8). I feel like people should avoid the e-series on htc altogether - it simply doesnt have the developer support like the m8,m9!
