Apologies i dont use cdma network so can not comment on the issue but alot of users are complaining about the evdo not working. As far as i know there is a maintenance update pending but not sure.

What I am saying is I wish next version of Android to come out and scrap Lollipop because its only on few devices and it's buggy.Also, What is point of constantly trying to make Android work on low spec devices when companies are not going to spend money updating old cheap phones anyway. Android is a powerful flexible O/S that requires decent GPU/CPU/RAM to operate fluently so just build for it so it works and limit weaker devices by limiting functions.

Just because a new firmware update is released it can cause other bugs to be introduced requiring another update to address these bugs. I have had nothing but trouble with Lollipop and wish they would scrap it.
They need to get to get Next version of Android i.e. 6 out that is stable and NOT bother about RAM,CPU,GPU constraints as most smartphones are either going to cope or not. If Manufacturers are not bothered doing Lollipop upgrade for cheap ones who cares anyway.

AnonD-41716, 16 May 2015Please update about cdma evdo net connection too. Some user... moreYou can manage this issue just restart your phone in night before going off to sleep if you need to restart your phone as I already told you before it Will work after 45 to 60 minutes.
After update ,take backup and factory reset the device and remember not to update following app from play store
1. Android web view
2. Scribble
3. Htc weather
4. Clock
As I suspect on these app to cause this problem.
but I am sure this will be resolved in future.
Apart from this everything is fine in fact I am sending this reply from my CDMA EVDO network.

haven't had any issues with the update. I did a full factory reset right after I updated the phone. changes are mostly visual and brings new features like interruptions in sound and notification option and smart lock under security which works well. loving the new lock screen and the notifications. another addition is the sense home widget which keeps a track of the applications frequently used by the user. hating the fact that we are now dumped with Skype which a lot of people don't use, but thank goodness we can disable it. even worse is the kid mode thing we cant even disable it anymore.
Battery backup is nice too getting a day of usage with moderate use and around 15hrs of battery on heavy usage.

Got hold of the hidden option to unlock developer option!
Go to Settings > About > Software Information > More > Build Number
Click on the build number 7 times, and voila! develooper options will appear in Settings Menu ;)
Just a word of caution, be careful while changing anything here, it could affect ur phone.
