Still using this masterpiece for the last 2 years for second device, the only problem is the rear(bottom) camera can't focus and solved after replacing with the new one. Software number is 6.12.1540.4 (the latest). Still a great device even to compare with the new one in the market

As far as I know it's not possible to select which back camera, both camera's are also the same. So this serves a different purpose than the newer phones which have 2 different back cameras, for example a wide-angle and a regular camera.

I upgraded from Lothar to marshmallow and my flash light isn't working anymore. Aside that the speed is very impressive

Addii, 14 Sep 2017i am considering it to buy.. could me brief me the behavio... moreWell, if you want it for gaming only then not really recommended cause of heating(it causes lag) and battery life(really 1.5h) but games are running quite smooth. For daily use its very good, always smooth. Very good camera quality and sound, fast 4g net and many features. Only snapchat front camera is issue

Got this in May 2014 and still going strong considering the beating I've subject it to - minor issues only. Phone dies at 35% or less and I can't figure out battery relearn (haven't tried very hard). Whenever phone dies, the device seems to ignore minor settings relating to Security screen lock and Bluetooth settings. Never cracked the screen yet after many drops. :)
Top features: camera quality and sound quality, still fast as ever.

Just owned this phone from second hand shop. So far its running great, some tiny scratches on screen and back but no worries. A little bit confused about battery life and heating - 1.5h when gaming, all day when not gaming + snapchat lags. But other way this phone is great. Recommended.

I've had my HTC M8 for almost 3 years - great phone. Much better than my previous Samsungs.

my htc m8 is heat very much in few minuts when mobile data is on and playing games like coc.. is something wrong with my phone or is it a usual problem in every m8s?

Let's be honest. This was the final good phone from HTC. Now, they are removing features in flagships and making inferior hardware.
And the HTC 10 wasn't that big of an improvement, in fact the U Ultra was even worse!

I prefer the cameras of M8 than M9.
