Which one is good Samsung S5 or HTC M8 ....? Please suggest I wanna purchase....

Yesterday I updated my phone to lollipop after that my headphone my skullcandy were working fine in the morning. Then I left the phone alone for a while with the headphones plugged in but with nothing playing and when I came back to it a few hours later the headphones were no longer recognized as being plugged in by the phone and when I checked the audio was coming out of the phone speakers.
I checked with original HTC headphone and they work perfectly fine.I tried my skullcandy on the S4 it works fine but with the M8 it doesn't recognise, I am wondering if it has something to do with the update cause I can't be sure,has anyone faced this issue after updating it, please help and thank you

And for people that suggesting LG 3 - it's bad advice. I got LG3 and it's really low end phone .

LG G3 is nothing in the presence of M8 both in performance and build quality. I do love camera on M8 although it can be improved but abandoning Ultra Pixel it's a gigantic mistake htc mustn't do that. M8 is 4UP at least M9 must be 8UP. Again, I have seen countless leaks on M9 without dual speakers and that it's another gigantic mistake please htc don't do that. Since htc vowed to give M8 major software upgrade for the coming two years, it says to me, I'll keep my M8 which makes iPhone 6 looks cheap. Eventually, I recommend M8 over M9 remember it's unwise to wait for what you don't know. The entire world knows what M8 is capable of obliterating S5,Z3,G3,. Only M8 can context with iPhone in relation to OS war. Nonetheless, htc for life no matter what

iels2003 And all my friends,if u have problem with your camera,battery or anyting in apps its necessary to do factoryReset,this solve all the problems.otherwise u meet other problems too!
