thou now its stock with marshmallow i cam tell you its a well built device, sounds is really one thing i love this phone and its you will miss it once you move in other phone with just mono speakers, still runs smoothly htc is doing a great job on this and it doesn't over heat like other phone out there... camera is so so so.... but gets the job done good for facebook and instagram posts...knowing this phone was release few years ago but i can tell you still worth considering....

GMaiyo, 21 Jul 2017The front LED notifications indicator just turned off on my... moreSame thing happened to me. Realied it didn't turn off. The sieve is stuffed and can't see the light anymore. You can replace the sieve or clean it with a toothbrush.

i am having the htc m8 for almost two years.but this pass three days am experiencing some difficulties with it .when even i get call numbers and contact dont appear it only indicating unknown .please i need some help.

I need your help, about my camera HTC One_M8. They I don't take a picture or video.If can touch the screen of my mobile, in particular to HTC Camera and sent me this ''Camera has stopped unexpectedly. Would you like to send an error report to HTC? This will help us improve our product.''
So, what I'm doing for? I'm doing for reformat or is their doing anything?
Please help me?
Because, the camera of HTC is the best quality. I have a plan to buy a camera, but I saw my phone are good for me...

I have had every htc flagship since the htc one m7 and I currently have a htc u11 but I admit the m8 will always have a special place in my heart it was a wonderful smartphone and it never let me down when I had one and I do regret selling it now.
Maybe I'll just buy a new one just to own it again,the m8 is a legend I think.

My HTC one M8 crashed after 1 week of usage. I literally sent less than 12 text messages and under 1 hour of total talk on the phone. It shut down in the middle of a conversation and refuses to reboot; unless plugged into a power source. This phone SUCKS and because I live outside USA I am at a total loss.

I've had my HTC one M8 since it was released in 2014. The display is beautiful. I have found that I never use my computer any more. The batterylife without mobile data running is pretty great - 2-3 days still after 3 years. If mobile data is on and I use the phone a lot, then 5-7 hours. It is beautiful, it is quality, and I have dropped it so many times, and it does have scratches now, but the screen is not cracked. The camera let's it down the most - it takes ok pictures, but other phones can do a much better job. Never needed repair.

Just got a Mi redmi note 4 an hour ago. Fast phone. Worthless camera. Screen is so bad I can't tell you.
I gave it to my eight year son. He can study Google maps wwithbit.I will use the redmi note 4 as a router in Bali since my US version of M8 doesn't receive LTE speeds. This Xiaomi thing is fast but the screen is worthless. I can not tell you how bad and blur everything looks.
