Now, I'm running 4.4.3 which is fine although I don't see the disparity but the touch screen is unbelievable after the update. Today, I saw a notification of new software 4.4.4. By the way, I live in Pretoria ( south africa). I'm not gonna change this phone anytime soon perhaps in 2017. it is beautiful with a flawless performance. I chose a gray color. HTC for life no matter what

          I have used Note 3, S5, Sony Z3 and finally moved to HTC M8. This is a great phone. Ignore the comments on the camera, sony has a 20MP camera but the quality is crap. The M8 4MP (2um) camera is amazing. The quality is just as good as point and shoot camera. Those who complain about cropping pics from a 4MP picture, just try composing better. 16MP samsung camera quality is not great if u zoomin to 100% (original resolution). This phone is simply brilliant.

                  I strongly recommend you to wait for the M9. IMO, it's not really worth to buy an M8 now. Just wait for the M9 in the next year. I guess HTC will announce the M9 around March in the next year. And It will come with the s810 chip which will be much better than the s805. Hopefully the camera will be great.

                          Waiting for my m8 to come....ordered online...eagerly waiting.....guys give me some advise before I start using phone.....hows ur exprrience till now with phone..... I will write my review after using it......

                            After one month, great phone so far. Camera features are fun to play with, especially edit mode and panoramic shots. Battery life in power saver mode is good-- at least goes 1.5 days or more. Key is keeping display brightness down and off when not using.

                                        I took m8 before one month and now I wanna share my experience honesty....I love design .I have Amber gold edition model and awesome look not like fake color . I'm always installing New application there is not a problem but some times I saw that mobile showing suddenly stop app not always but when I'm closing app that time only happens . Otherwise working fast but I love 4g mobile Bz I'mliving in Russia and I'm using 4g m8 model but truthfully I wanna say that I got mobile which one was exported from India so in this mobile 4g band is not stable but when 4g range is good it's showing 4g.
                                        Camera: camera awesome no need pixels but how u use that's only depends on you . I love camera but thing is dual effect is not worth full . I wanna say true that it's not working in every condition Bz when u zoom it's not work ,when u put in different mode like night mode it's not work so basically it's not useful there which one giving background is also use less . but camera 4 ulta pixels is really awesome . only u have to know that how u take photos that's it . But I wanna say that I love HTC mobile . Before I had HTC desire 816 that also awesome but in my hand it's too big 5.5 inch. And ram was less but about m8 truthfully I wanna say that if u will buy m8 u will not regrets seriously . I love mobile . Battery life depends on u . Normally if u using than its near 20-22 hours worked . Thanks to HTC who made this mobile royal look not like Samsung cheap look .
