Best phone ever, im still using it on 2017 no waste money for new phone, likes nokia history we using handphone can 3 or 5 years.. good job for htc

Oh this Cellphone maybe good but sometime so hot when used 3g, but now cheap and i think almost ok.

This phone is great in performance, but short battery life. Another bug is tethering always disconnects when screen goes off

I am youse M8 Mobile Phone was very nice but there is a hit problem . I want solution I show wear I can by my mobile but there is no change and the is battery all problem its coming only 3 hours back up.

Amazing phone. Picked up a lightly used one for $100CDN with all the accessories. So well crafted. Runs very smoothly with official HTC Sense 7 and Android 6. Love the IR blaster and overall build quality. Highly recommended if you can grab one for cheap. Nice how quickly Android phones depreciate.

Given the bad phones I got over the years, I'm happy with this one. Too bad it's no longer available in Canada. I'd take another one when compared to what is being offered.

S7 leased phone has to go! My M8 sat for two years now with broken charging port. I LOVED this phone so I just ordered a replacement port. Its classy, well made, easy to navigate, great feel and I own it. So what if I give up some megapixels!

My phone with this model will be 3 years old. Still rocks. I'm gonna use it till it dies one me. And probably buy another HTC flagship. I know U Ultra sucks. Maybe htc 11 or 12.

I've owned the m8 it's been two years now. And I tell you what! This phone is phenomenal!! Great build, great design, super stereo speakers..I just can't find a replacement for this beast. The Axon 7 is the closest one for this..

I played with a lot of old phones and this one is a beast in all its glory. I do recommend instaling a custom rom however; I myself installed sTeam Marshmallow with Sense 8 and Dolby Atmos output. There are a few good reviews on this on yt so if you are looking for a custom rom check them out.
I still haven't managed to find anything this phone doesn't do in comparison to modern day flagships.
I honestly wish htc would make something as noble as this again.

Have my HTC m8 about a month now takes 9hours to fully charge with the original charger and when using phone while charging it doesn't charge when I use my Samsung charger it charges fast and I could use my phone while charging

Dukemiguel, 17 Feb 2017I have HTC one M8 ... is a good phone ... but can't update... moreMost likely your provider not pushing updates, mine updated just fine to 6.0 feb of last year. You could always load custom recovery & load 6.0 manually, either stock rom or custom (I'd reccomend Android Revolution HD - Stock rom modified for performance, looks exactly the same - performs MUCH better).

Great phone! Had mine for 2 Years. It started 2 get laggy towards the end, so like any rational person would do - I rooted it and loaded a custom ROM - Android Revolution HD (This is basically a tweaked version of the stock M8 OS, I HIGHLY recommend it https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2694917 )- Now it's fast as lightning! Turns out the stock firmware uses software rendering to render UI elements, custom ROM disabled SW rendering and enabled HW rendering and viola - iPhone 6 can kiss my arse!
Good as new. Lightning fast, in fact faster than when it was brand new,
