M8 User, 10 Oct 2014one more thing bro! if i make a factory reset and i back up... moreIf you factory reset your phone, no need to update your phone again. Factory reset doesn't remove the firmware updates and current OS version. After the factory reset your phone is still running on Android 4.3.3.

I have been using this super since April it's really super and fantastic.. I switched to iphone 6 and now back to my lovely m8 it's really super device.
The camera is not good enough

I have just purchases HTC One M8.
Everything is fantastic with this phone.
I have noticed that it's camera glass has some green sort of layer on to it and it has started getting scratches onto it.
This is really dissapointing. After shelling out whopping 40k for a phone and then you get such low grade camera lens glass.
Really dissapointing.
If someone has also faced such problem please give your opinion and if you have any suggestion please tell.

I am at htc shop and going to buy this beast now typing last words from iphone 5s. I am switching back to android as i found ios to be very restrictive and later will post review for it.For now i am excited to unbox it and get started asap !!!!

So this is coming from an iPhone user. I have used only iPhones since the last 4 years.
I wanted to try out android (actually i was sick of my iphone5) and wasn't sure to choose as my first android device. After a proper search, i settled with the One m8. I am so glad that i decided to get the m8. Just love the premium build quality which can only competes the iphones. The boom sound speakers are just mind blowing. HTC sense is quite nice to use.Even the battery is quite good, I wasn't hoping that i would be getting this much battery life from it. The cam is not that bad like how people use to say. Its good enough plus i don't use it much also. The screen is also very pleasing to the eye.
Really happy and satisfied with my HTC One m8. Love my m8.

Awesome phone! The sound it produces is amazing! Not only from the front sterio speakers, but also from the jack! The iPhone is the only phone that can compete!
The screen is amazing, I do wish it could get a bit darker, so the contrast is not as good as I'd like.
The camera is not really to big of an issue as I don't use it that much. Also, I've been using Cyanogenmod 11 basicly since I got it, which does not support the dual camera feature. (Just installed revolution, so lets see how that works!)
I get easly a day out the the battery with frequent use, sometimes even two full days with moderate use. I'm usally by a computer all day, so it's not to heavily in use, but at school it entertains me all day with music. Usally using the "balanced" powersaving option on cyanogenmod, sometimes spotify starts to lag at that settings, so while playing music, it's usally on performance.

Ultrapixel is just a moniker given to the camera as the pixel size is simply large. It has nothing to do with the resolution of the camera...
Get some money and educate yourself.

There is some problem in you. Maybe you dont know how to use phones...
