Em using m8 :-) it is the best... The feel of this phone in hand is awsum... I love it... And the bettry is better then any other smart phone i ever used... Thumbs up

darkgamer, 23 Sep 2014Note 4 is metal if you don't know. And m8 doesn't stand ... moreNot fully. Just the sides are metal. Early speed app tests show that m8 stands its ground.
True, note 4 has better processor but has also more pixels to push. Screen is amazing, ui is good. In my opinion is the best of samsung. Camera has ois.
Htc is for normal users, while note series are for business productive users, thats why it is embeded with a stylus:-)
As always, depends what do you want to do with your phone?
    Best regards

I've used many phones, androids and iOS and i've got to say i love my M8 the most! Sure the Galaxy S5 and the note 4 are great but the M8 is good overall, the camera is a little iffy but considering its great in low light and i don't particularly take pictures, its fine. Totally recommend this phone.

BC, 22 Sep 2014Just because its stated 2.5ghz & u think it will be fas... moreSense is better than crappy touchwiz
Especially m8's sense 6 + unibody premium aluminium design is way better than
Samsungs plastic design and shitty touchwiz os

Am using HTC one M8 it's an excellent mobile phone money can buy even here in Kenya, but I Have one problem that's with the Duo cameras are covered with plastic and it gets scratches then the cams becomes blur . Any help on how to remove them or change them?

bladesman83, 23 Sep 2014Nearly every review I see states the M8 has a 4mp camera...... morePlease, 4 mpx is 4 megapixels. It is not 5, nor 16. It is 4 million points that compose the picture. Not 16 millions. Ultra pixels stands for the bigger dimension of each pixel, a marketing term for that. See in specification, at camera - resolution the numbers. Multiply them and get the exact number of pixels.
                    Best regards
Ps: camera is decent, but not the best when compared to sony z1,2 or sgs 5. There are many other assets on m8 side:-)

AnonD-311237, 23 Sep 2014kindly suggest me which one is better S5 or M8. i am a reg... moreLet me be honest. I have used only one phone from the galaxy s-series (S2). I am using a nexus 5 (which is currently in repairs because the usb port is not working) and a blackberry z10 (which again is spoilt and i'm waiting for a replacement unit). I am gonna switch to htc once i get my phones back. I'll sell them and buy an htc one m8.

The reasons why i want to purchase this phone are pretty straight forward. I want a phone with a big screen, better display, nice design and better sounding speakers. I can compromise on the image quality since i generally use the phones camera to upload pics on social networking sites and i am not a pixel peeper. So everything that i want is provided in this phone. Of course the xperia z2/z3 is also an option but i dont like sony's interface as its not quite consistent.

S5 looks really pathetic. I wouldnt imagine myself waking up in the morning seeing that plastic stuff besides my bed. It looks really bad. Plus touchwiz as you know it is still laggy. A particular issue with the dialer app launching very late still persists in the galaxy s5.

It all boils down to personal preference now.As soon as i get this phone i shall post my opinions about it.
In short you take the call. If you want a better camera then go for the galaxy s5. If you want a better lookingand better performing phone go for the galaxy s5. Looks matter a lot to me so i would never go for s5 as i have used a lot of plastic phones. Cheers.

Nearly every review I see states the M8 has a 4mp camera..............It does not! It has a 4up(ultra pixel) camera which is closer to 16mp than 4mp.

samsung has a great feature, that u can swip down notification bar during running a game or another apps which is called quick notification.
i want to know........does the feature belong to htc one m8 ?? because it is so usefull feature when u r busy to acces another things like games or some apps that takes full screen. please tell me.
                                i need it.......

And m8 doesn't stand a chance against it. M8 is really a good phone but it's bragging days are over. Q3/Q4 flagships will definitely be better.
