Exciting to see a new flag ship or a smart phone from HTC in the market.
HTC manufactures excellent and smart looking phone with good specification which actually makes the consumers to desire for an HTC phone.
I have used HTC phones in the past and still use one as a secondary phone but not a primary one – In the recent past I shifted to Samsung Note 2 after use HTC-Desire S , Sensation XE , One S, One X, One X+ and butterfly S. I have listed down few points why HTC is losing out on potential market share in India.
1) What HTC has to consider is the pricing of its smart phones in potential markets like and India and other south Asian countries.
2) India has huge potential and HTC can make an excellent come back if the phones are marketed and sold at a competitive price across all major cities
3) In a country like India where demand for smart phones are increasing day by day …HTC should take advantage of this situation and re-look at its strategies to market the product well with affordable pricing with good aftermarket service.
4) I also see a huge variation of pricing in physical stores and online – I see a difference of approx. 8 – 10% - this should reduce to 2 – 3 % max
5) I also feel the UI has to be user friendly and easy to use – Sense 5 should have more options to modify – avoid sense 5 if possible
6) Photo Gallery - This needs a complete re-vamp – on this piece you need to look at new gallery UI – the photo gallery needs to be more practical – I really struggle to sort my pictures on any HTC phone - For example look at Samsung they do a good job with the photo gallery –7) Music Player and sorting of Music – it’s the best I have seen so far – don’t recommend any changes ( Beats audio rocks )
8) External SD card slot – Please have one on all the phones – These day SD card do change hands within group so it very important that you have one so that the user can exchange data whenever require without using Bluetooth or drop box.
9) Ultra Pixel – pls change to mega pixel – I love the pictures taken on Mega pixel when compared with ultra-pixel
10) Battery power is most important aspect in this current world – pls do something on the power mngt have bigger and better MaH batteries on your phone – something what HTC butterfly had – but the phone really take off well in the market due to heavy pricing.
11) HTC ONE M8 is a stunning looking phone – Please price the phone well to achieve greater sales.

Guy Hero, 09 Apr 2014They obviously are the bestAre u kidding me?? Sony is also equally gud. Apple is dere as well. Only if they had a slightly bigger screen size & a bigger battery then iphone wud've been perfect for me.
But, as of now Apple iphone 5s is nowhere near the Android flagships- Z2, One M8, S5 & G2..

Im currently using the M8 as a company phone. I got it on monday and let me say this phone is great. not 10/10
but a 8/10
feels great in your pocket.seems like a lot of you people have sweaty palms or something since you claim its slipping off you hands.

Honestly wasn't expecting much but after actually using the phone, must say HTC has really outdone themselves. Hardware is hardware but HTC has also pursued providing an excellent experience through software enhancements.
Try it to believe it.
