More about 'GC': "Using two low profile apertures this front camera is capable of producing a high sensitivity full HD video and simultaneously producing a 3D depth map for gesture and other applications."
I guess one use would be to use your Phone as a Webcam and be able to navigate a Virtual Reality World (visible on your Computer's Monitor) by waving your hands -- would be better if the front Camera was dual aperture as well.

I noticed two recent comments about "dual Camera".
Note that in closeups you can see that the (as you call it) 'two Cameras' are different sizes (physically).
TECHNICALLY speaking it is NOT a "dual Camera", it is ONE Camera with dual apertures (there can be up to 4, so far).

IF someone has a better GUESS, we all want to know, so no need to flame, just post a Link (please).

So you get (computational) Optical Zoom, maybe "real" Optical Zoom also, (and digital Zoom), HDR, Refocusing, Gesture Control, and what they call "3-D Like" (I guess I'd call it 2.5-D, less than really nice 3D), and "more" unspecified goodies (later?).

My GUESS is that it means that it is more than just "smile detection". POSSIBLY, you could beckon with your finger to make the Camera center the frame upon that person. Do not expect any such thing in the FIRST release of the Software BUT at least you have the HARDWARE that (maybe) is capable of doing it (and without that you would rely on some really cleaver programming).

I wasnt too excited about this phone when it was first rumoured sometime in 2013 but the [alleged] specs are impressive... Water / dust proofing of some sort would be great, but that's all to be announced on 25/03/14. I bought the ONE MAX version and I must say it really is a beautiful piece of tech, I still don't have KK4.4 but it's still fast and loud ... Looking forward to THE ALL NEW ONE.. And possibly the MAX version - this might be that "back-to-basics" device that's sees HTC heading back into the green as far as profits goes...
Can't wait....

HTC is a good one m7 tecnicmente cell better than the htc
one 2012pregunto anyone know if the speakers are as good as the m7?, and I hope the quality of the device is equal to or better excellent htc 2013

2-samsung galaxy s3 must be in many ways, BUT NOT SEXY

AnonD-26875, 15 Mar 2014And what about waterproofyes it doesnt have waterproof feature which the z2 has..but im not that kind of a person who takes his .phone to the shower...also to make the phone completely water proof...the coating actually doesnt let the heat diisipate so fast..so under gaming or heavy usage..the phone heats up....like in z1..but maybe sony has addressed the problem in the z2..i am eagerly waiting for the reviews..
