How's about watching video on this M8 ? I had an Htc desire eye , awesome performance and really smooth but taking pictures with the rear camera and watching movie and 1080 video ain't good at all. I'm planning to get a new phone and need some opinions between the M8 and the nexus 6 , which one is a better choice ?

I have to comment on this... by far the best update...marshmallow is way better than lollipop... no lag, fast, and my battery seems to last for long...and sense7 rocks!!! Beautiful !!! HTC for Life!!!

Guys, my HTC M8 India version got Android M update yesterday night. The update size is 1.1 Gb.
So far the experience is good and I am yet to explore more features...

HTC, 11 Feb 2016hey man Other than Camera is there any problem you have enc... moreI had no performance problems on my M8 while I owned it, but it did get almost burning hot a few times. A hot aluminum phone isn't really nice to hold in a hand. Battery life was okay (about 3-4 hours SoT usually), but my Nexus 6 is somehow much better - I easily get about 1-2 hours more Screen-on Time. Maximum so far 6 hours, on my M8 the best one was only about 5 hours and it has a much smaller screen (and battery, sure).
Screen is good, but unfortunately way too small for the device footprint. The LG G3 has much bigger screen and isn't even a bigger device! If you know you won't need your phone as a camera and you accept the huge bezels, then it might be okay. I personally wasn't impressed and sold my M8. And I think the Marshmallow-update was the last big one for this phone, so for newer Android-versions you would need to root and flash those yourself. Read the GSM Arena comparison between these 2 phones, it might help you choose the right phone for you.

I mean how is it in other department like PERFORMANCE (0 LAG), DISPLAY, BATTERY,DURABILITY & RELIABILITY.Actually I am stuck between LG G3 and HTC One M8...I hear LG G3 heats up and lags due to QHD and its screen is not as good as HTC ONE M8.I am also planning to buy a 20MP Digital Camera. So Camera is not a big deal for me.
