Look i haven't tryed the one m8 yet but many people did try it and it is beyond any phone i have ever seen :) it is fantastic

Extremely poor battery ... morei am so sorry to hear about the hard time htc m8 has gotten you through lately. do not despair, here is a practical troubleshooting you should at least try. turn off your htc m8, then hold down volume key down and at the same time push power bottom down then release just the power bottom in doing so it would show up a function menu press volume down please select recovery, this will re calibrate your battery functionality, calibration will last secs if you have 5.0.1 OS but around 1 min if you have another OS, just in case you have previous os you are going to see a red triangle as soon as you get that press volume up (hold it down) then power release just power bottom a blue screen with some options will appear so volume down until you hightlight wipe cache partition, once there press power bottom that works as select key. battery performance should last longer. in my opinion it did help me i gone from battery 8 hours aprox left to 1d and 18 hours.

Currently I am using LG G3 but I want to shift in HTC one M8 due to overheat problem during internet browsing and i also want to know is the HTC one m9 has the same problem? also want to know the battery performance of lg g3. WILL IT BE A GOOD DECISION TO MOVE FROM LG G3 TO HTC ONE M8? ....Please help me all the expert guys...

This mobile is beyond bad!!! You name it: Extremely poor battery life, overheates enough to fry an egg, wifi signal is not stable and disconnects a lot and it takes ages to reconnect, every time u restart the phone u have to manually connect to the provider, screen brightness is extremely bad under sunlight, camera takes 2 eras to switch from selfie to normal, powersaving modes are two big jokes, music player has many bugs, the wallpaper is PLAIN blue!!!!!! Never again to buy an htc! To be fair, the soundsystem of the mobile, built quality, and snappiness are good

hey guys.... i am an m8 user for the past 1 year.... its a great phone i agree , can never deny it.
i have just two issues which i would like u ppl to sort out if u can
1. a few days back i got an upadte of about 54 mb. i dint actually see the detail but it was a system update. during the download the file got corrupted due to bad wifi so i had to download it again and then the phone restarted and afer that my wifi started havving issues. its not getting connected and just showing scannig for network. what shall i do about it. its working ok in safe mode.
2. the in-call volume has decreased a lot for me , it fell of a few times from my hand so is that the reason for it or can i adjust it? when i watch movies or play songs the upper speaker has low volume in comparision to the bottom speaker.
it was perfect before but dont know wats affecting it now.
will be glad if you guys could help.
