this is the best smart phone ever. three months of usage the harman kardon big papa ov all ts slick n cool best music quality iphone better upgrade their game coz this baby is taking offffff. performance wise, thumbs up n best built quality too.

Looks like some people are getting paid to talk bad about hTc, a legend in the mobile market. hTc was ruling the mobile market previously whilst Samsung, Apple etc. were not heard of as much.

ive been trying to tell people that this camera is a gimmick and should only be featured on cheap models not flagships ive thinking about upgrading this phone to a xiaomi mi4 its a true beast phone

Bought it on April 2014, still rocking good as new after 1 year and 4 months. Superb performance, great battery life, awesome display and dont forget the earsmashing boomsound! Best phone i will ever own. Period.

I mean it makes a very good 4mp camera, probably compares to the galaxy s2. But still doesn't match other flag ships like sony, s5, iPhone 6 in terms of camera. Other than that it's a beast, loud as speakers, gaming is good, hr blaster, fm radio which I missed with the s5 which I recently switched. Overall I'm pleased with the performance, makes a terrfic phone

Htc one M8 never freezes never stopped his battery is powerfull it is a heavy duty phone noting that i was using i phone and sumsung phone before.

I bought this phone to play heavey games n watch movies. n it does awesome job. M8 plays every video superbly so. M8 is a best phone today which will take time for any phone. if u hv nothing to say about m8 just shut up. this runs smooth in many departments if not all. I stil recomend it

This phone looks nice, feels nice, and sounds nice. Does it work nice? Nope. Easily the worst phone I've ever had the displeasure of using in that regard. When my Nokia Lumia 1520 broke, I agreed to have it replaced with this phone assuming it would be the Windows version. Nope again. This phone is good for calling people, and that's about it. A bit overpriced for that, don't you think? Even texting a single person has proven too much for it, as it has stopped sending messages to people individually for no apparent reason. Group messaging works, and runs at an incredible 0.5 fps. The notification sound plays, frame rate decreases, five seconds later a message appears in a random place on your screen, phone freezes, ten seconds later the message sorts itself to where it should be, frame rate back up to 0.5 fps. Want to scroll through a texting conversation with that convenient scroll bar? Me too! But you can't. It doesn't work properly as soon as someone sends a picture in the conversation. The display is really nice. 1080p on a 5" screen yields a very nice ppi density. It would be nice if you could make the best of that with games, but they don't exactly work very well either unless they're entirely 2D (which is fine, nothing against 2D games here). But if you're trying to run even a partially 3D game, the frame rate is extremely erratic, jumping between 45 and 2 fps at random and freezing often. BoomSound is nice. But this phone can't play most video formats without expensive apps. BlinkFeed is kinda cool, but I liked Cortana's personalized news feature better. The camera is okay. Don't get me started on DotView. That feature is equally as mediocre as the battery life and the rest of the features. The personalization is really nice, Android lets you change your background to some very unique things with the use of some apps. You can change your ringtone and notification sounds to whatever you want. The aluminum body feels really good to hold, nice and smooth. But above all that I'd prefer a phone that functions as a phone 100% of the time.
