How can.you not see that A... moreHow can your response to anything be that you used a VERY old model of a phone?
And as to how I whatever to all of those questions? I (as in me personally and a the select few others persons I know) did not have a severe scrolling issue on our Android phones. High-end mind you, as I never purchase low or mid range phones of any brand.
Also, if you go back and reread my post you would see that I said 8.1 was smooth. The touch response worked on par on both OS's for me. Btw...you can't say gradual and lag free in the same sentence. Cause gradual means "slowly but progressively". Just saying.
And as for the layout of anything. It's called personal preference and is in no way EVER a factual point towards any product's might over another.

If anything like the Android hardware, please keep clear of this phone, I have to use my old Samsung Galaxy S4 as my new HTC M8 is only worthy of sitting on my desk turned OFF. Camera rubbish, lenses scratch easy and cracks commonly, Google HTC M8 Crack Lens, and you'll find reports all over.

I really don't understand why Microsoft did not
create a normal phone interface with common shortcuts and a common phone book. But having a smooth and lag free scrolling, smooth and fast text typing and superb touch response, make me love my Lumia 1520 and
remembering Android phones in my worst night mares!

i have HTC 8X. i have to say that don't buy WP phones... specially from HTC. they abandon their phones as soon as you buy the.
the performance in wp is just a myth. the only fast thing is phone menus and settings. almost all the apps have speed problems and load as late as they can.
full of bugs... specially in push notification system. it's almost broken in all applications. my opinion? stick to your android or ios phone. do not become a fool like me

advantages over An... moreThat's not true at all. The Lumia 1520 with 8.1 was a great phone and all, but I missed my S4 everyday.
Was 8.1 smoother, yes. Was it better? No. Different OS's, different experiences. Both awesome in their own regards and weak in others as well.
