Al, 09 May 2015Hi folks.. I have been using HTC One m8 EYE for over 3 mont... moreI agree, based on reading opinions on the blog, I went ahead and got the M8 eye for myself 3 days back. At the price range, its the best option anyone can get. Super smooth flow with no lag, decent camera, zappy app performance and future upgrade to lollipop (although I am happy with kitkat as lollipop has lots of bugs), nothing could have been better. This will be my daily drive for coming year and half

Hi folks.. I have been using HTC One m8 EYE for over 3 months now.. it's simply awesome and worth the price.. no issues with battery despite using 3G data whole day.. the only problem I am facing is syncing with yahoo / gmail in the inbuilt e-mail app... I had separately download yahoo and gmail email apps to use email.. in this matter, my iPhone was better.. it was simpler to access and send emails in iphone

But both phones lacks optical image stabilization. Anyway camera should be ok for an average user. Rumors are there about the Lollipop update coming on may or june but no concrete news. Also you have to note that M8 eye lacks NFC, IR blaster and quick charge which is present in M8. Both phones are good and it's your choice.

This is nice cell good for gamers and photographers. Good speed, Slim, light weight, superb finishing. Only the issues is with battery but still it covers 75% of the 24 hours if you are using it upto the fullest.
Suggestion you may buy if you are looking for good quality.

Hi Guys,
I am thinking to buy this phone and plan on using it for an year , but I am not sure how is the camera and also if it would receive the Android L as the regular M8 has received the 5.0 update but no information on M8 eye.
Please share your feedback so that i could decide if I shall be buying it or not, I am getting it for 31K through Flipkart

AnonD-383700, 02 May 2015Lollipop still not received... As promised by HTC india HTC said that it will skip 5.0.1 and directly go to 5.1 with sense 7. So it will take some time. At most another month or two.

@HTC .. shame on not giving lollipop update to a much costlier model than E8 and to M8 brand...
While your reputation on faltering on updates has preceded my buying decision, I had hope that you would not shortchange one of your biggest markets India/china for other markets
