I have been using this phone for more than 1.5yrs, its still running cool...
But the latest marshmallow update took away many features of my camera..
Hoping to get a corrected update...

jimmy, 22 Aug 2016i bought m8 eye upgraded to lollipop 5.0.2 ,and when i chec... moreHey bro,I bought the same phone just a week ago and Yesterday I got the same update and I would suggest you to download it in case if you want marshmallow, the update is nothing but a bug fix that allows your phone to update to marshmallow and once you install the update just to the software update option in settings/about phone and tap on check updates it will show up a pop up telling you to download marshmallow update 1/2 and just download it and then another popup with marshmallow update 2/2 will show up and download it too and it will install marshmallow

i bought m8 eye upgraded to lollipop 5.0.2 ,and when i checked for updates i found (software update v6.4.160128 "size 538 kb").
any one knows what is this update for and should i download it or not ?

I brought it from KSA one week ago then updated to Android Lollypop.now using in India. its an amazing flagship from htc Camera, disply n boom sound speakers are mind-blowing. Is there any network settings for selecting b/w 2g 3g 4g n automatic or manual network selection?? Pls reply

Been using this phone for exactly an year.. no problem yet. everything is just perfect, whether its the camera or battery power. battery consumption improved with marshmallow update. double thumbs up for this phone ..

I have both. Don't feel any difference. Clean ur speaker grills with toothbrush if u feel volume is lower. I have tried it myself.

Over heating and very very low battery back up when using internet...otherwise it is good..(m8 eye 0ne)

If u having problem with your camera app or any other HTC app, it's best to reformat your phone. It will solve most of the problems with factory reset.

Did you update the "HTC Service - HTC PNS" or "HTC Service Pack" from google play store? If these apps are updated then there are chances that your camera WILL crash, Check the user reviews. If not updated then try doing a factory reset.
