Just bought this phone a week ago. Battery lasted roughly 3hours with heavy usage(pokemon go to be exact)

Why so long?? 149. 8 mm is way too long/tall for a 5 inch phone. The Xiaomi Redmi 3 series, by comparison is only 139 mm, a full 10 mm less, not too mention having a 4100 mAh battery. I don't care what other advantages the HTC may have, it does not fit my definition of a compact phone.

they are trying to use their old leftover materials to make new phones. cameras and batteries gives you a clear idea of that.....

Its surprising! Why some people blame htc for a solid midrange nice design phone and alway welcomes some brands which producing phone with same aspets o even lower and most of them has not been authorised yet in usa htc is not like those companiees to produce every week or months a new model or like some of these companies make same thing and put a new cod for it. Htc always make surprising the world by its product like htc10..... Go for that if you dont enjoy the midrang one no need to be worry about htc's future.....

Got it cheap, does everything I need it to do, however, it does NOT have a music player already installed, it has Google Play Music which is atrocious and you can't set a ringtone from that.

seems like a downgrade...lower res screen, narrower aperature, no ois, thicker and doubt it still has 24 bit audio. Only upgrade is performance.
