I've had this HTC One for a few years now. The camera is pretty good, but its not the best on the markets. 4 MP vs 10+ MP is not as big difference as it first sounds. What usually matters in the cameras is the size of the sensor. For more info on the subject check e.g. Lensdojo. Every year the sensors and the camera hardware becomes better, so the newer phone you have the better camera it probably has. I've compared this phone to Nexus and the HTC takes good pictures at night but it seriously sucks at taking HRD images for example. I'm a photographer and I wouldn't be ready to ditch my DSLR away but I do use phone more often in the casual every day shootings, its an "alright" camera.

hi. I use HTC one dual SIM M7 .when I open it's camer in night then photo snap in red colour .
But in day time ( presence of Sun ) then image very very clear and excellent .
please give me advice about the night photo why it red in colour .
plz do solution this problem ..

I have the CDMA version of this phone but the sim card slot is broken, hence the phone is not useful. The sim card slot flex cannot be gotten in my region(Nigeria), Can any one help?

I have unlocked bootloader and installed recovery and custom rom ..tried soul rom kitkat and sixth sense lollipop..but not getting good battery life....specially in lollipop...any suggestion for good battery life?
