Whats the diff b/w HTC One M7 802w and HTC One M7 802d
For 802w, I see the freq as
2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100
For 802d, I see the freq as
SIM1: Up to HSPA (900/2100 MHz) and up to EVDO REV. B(800 MHz)
SIM2: Up to EDGE (900/1800/1900 MHz)
not sure whst the diff b/w 802d and 802w

... moreYou are correct. ROM for HTC One dual sim might become available later but will come from 3rd party and not official from HTC because HTC One dual sim is not for international market, only for China, India and perhaps Russia.
By the way, I checked the new features in Android 4.2.2 and found out that most of these are there in HTC One dual sim with 4.1.2 because these are built in the HTC Sense UI v5. No need to update to 4.2.2.

was, 14 Aug 2013i have reset it remains the same with no change.If your phone is rooted and with custom ROM, it will just revert to its original state when reset.
I think the only way to change the original OS is if you flash it with new ROM with Android 4.2.2 designed for HTC One dual sim for international market. The only problem is there is that new ROM is not available. There is a ROM with Android 4.2.2 but released for Chinese market only.

mine one say HTC 802W but it doesnt have the 4.2.2 feature. can any one help me to install 4.2.2 and how can i get the "Software Update" Option. Thanks.

HTC one dual sim indian version comes with 4.2.2
hope they will give us 4.3 also

I think no need to update from Android 4.1.2 to 4.2.2 since most of the added features in 4.2.2 are built in HTC One Sense UI v5.
