Has anyone gotten the MM update for this phone? Its a shame HTC has decided to put this phone to the side without little or no support. Doesn't this phone earn the status to even be upgraded to the Nougat O.S? Please E9+ users what do you feel? Look at the specs and build of the phone. Isn't it a top notch prime phone? HTC oh! HTC thats why you continue to lag behind, what a pity.

Strada, 06 Dec 2016I own E9+ for past 15 months. I will not recommend this pho... moreAfter 15 months of use and still a phone to criticize!. Some high end phones are totally consumed in less than 6 months, some explode , others circling in continuous boatloading, others loss their sound and touch , ، , etc. My opinion it is a very good phone with durable construction and reasonable price.

I own E9+ for past 15 months. I will not recommend this phone to anyone. Here are the reasons
1. Extremely slow charging time. I have never seen a device as slow as this. It takes more than 3 hours to go from 0 to 100. I thought may be I can charge overnight and use throughout the day. But the 2800mAh battery is not at all good enough. With average use you may get some 3-3.5 hrs screen on time.
2. High end games lag. Experienced it.
3. Yet another proof that camera is not about megapixel. 20MP rear camera is just average only. Front camera is better though. it is 4MP ultrapixel.
4. The phone has bending issues. I dont know why but maybe due to the build quality. It is made of some plastic. When I take side-look, I can see the little curvature. I am not a rough user.
5 It's been so long since I have received an update. Poor support from HTC. Now I realized that software support is equally important as hardware. OnePlus and Pixel phones are better in this I guess
Daily multitasking is good enough for me. But battery life disappoints me very much.
Planning to upgrade to OnePlus 3T

The only disadvantage is battery life if heavily used.

Just use it for about 1 year and the problems come. Having problems with my wifi IC and the system is not functioning well, get hots easily. Starting to feel regret

Definitely go for htc e9+ and you'll never regret it. the rare cam 20 mgb front 13 mgb or 4 ultrapixel same function (market dependent) also you'll enjoy stereo boom sound . the only disadvantage is battery life you have to recharge twice aday in heavy use. Otherwise it's ok

AnonD-614691, 28 Nov 2016can anybody help me, i want to buy HTC but im confuse, whic... moreIt's market dependant.some comes with a 13mp camera and some comes with a 4mp ultra pixel camera.i have the 4mp ultra pixel one which is definetely better in my experience.chosing between e9+ and eye is upto you.eye is dust and water proof & comes with quick charge.e9+ lacks the above options but it is a dual sim phone which is bigger and lighter and surpasses eye in other options like internal storage,ram,cpu, pixel density.it also features dolby audio.comparing the options and selecting is entirely upto you.

One 13 Mega pixel in China
The other is 4 ultra pixel in India which give you more light and better than 13 Mega pixel.
But anyway e9+ is super

can anybody help me, i want to buy HTC but im confuse, which is better? E9+ or Desire Eye? is it true E9+ secondary camera is 13MP? i see at other spec its written 4MP? hopefully replied before 2 Dec coz im gonna go shopping at that date ;)
